The Department of Health and Human Services announced yesterday that... a variety of health-care providers that don’t accept Medicare or Medicaid are now eligible for pandemic assistance under the Provider Relief Fund. These include behavioral health professionals, dentists, chiropractors, hospice providers, osteopathic physicians, laboratories, and eye care providers. Those interested in receiving the funds have until Nov. 6 to apply to receive about 2% of their annual patient care revenue as a baseline payment. Funds should be used to reimburse any expenses attributed to Covid-19, including lost revenue.
