WOW. Twice now in 2018, Cape Town's tourism industry has risen to the challenge of helping youth develop the skills they need to work in tourism. First PG Tops Travel & Tours launched Tourism Boot Camp and now Once in Cape Town, one of several Cape Town businesses that are Fair Trade Tourism certified. We see it as a win-win. Young people are prepared for the working world, and tourism businesses can recruit fresh faces better prepared to work for them

President Ramaphosa's SONA18 was filled with messages of renewal and responsibility. Three things, in particular, resonate with us: 1) tourism as a sector of hope and opportunity 2) the need for transformation in the economy and the way state and private business is conducted 3) a call to individual action to build a better South Africa. #WeDoTourism #Madiba100 #BeTheLegacy #SendMe
