This is the most welcoming and comfortable hotel I've ever stayed in. Not gushy, just very considerate of every little thing and so friendly and helpful. The ...hotel is a traditional Morrocan riad, tastefully decorated and well run. Pure luxury at an affordable price. The welcome was so warm, so was the tea with it. The riad is hidden in a warren of lanes in the Medina which could be a little scary if you weren't guided. But I was met at the airport, then walked to the riad and had the map carefully marked and explained. The care and concern was amazing, given I'm a woman of a certain age travelling on my own. Needn't have worried. They even happily took me back to the airport at 3.30 am without any hesitation. The food was excellent. A heavenly oasis! See More

Very beautiful place, friendly service, even when appeared that we didn't had enough rooms. They made it possible for us to have two rooms. The terrace upstairs... is very beautiful. Nice music on the side.. very relaxing in the busy streets of marrakech. Everything is nearby and you can walk to the squires and the sooks. Lovely places to have lunch and dinner. The rooms where beautiful. Slightly more light in the bathroom would be nice. If you want to find the place, beware that you know how to get there. It is near the big policestation (you walk in to that street). Every person there wants to guide you and want to get payed. To park your car, that is possible, but also, you have to pay for the 'guidance' and the parkingspace. But when you arrive at the riad.. it is very peaceful and quited. I definitely want to come back. See More

Hidden inside the Medina, at the end of authentic alley we found Riad Farhan. The friendly, warm and welcoming staff made our stay enjoyable until the last mome...nt. The terrace on the roof is an oasis of rest just a few hundred meters from the souk. A great place to relax or enjoy a tasty lunch or evening supper.

We really enjoyed our stay and will surely return if we have the occasion. 10/10

An amazing place to stay in Marrakech. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel organised all our excursions and provided Moroccan style breakfast each morning. The hotel was very clean and we felt at home from the minute of our arrival.

Great place to stay. I would come back here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The riad is amazing and very clean. The room is depicted from Moroccan traditional style. It has a lounge area, a private bathroom, daily service, excellent cook.

Très belle initiative de la part de la ville de Marrakech qui vient de « planter » plusieurs arbres solaires donnant la possibilité aux passants de recharger gratuitement leurs batteries de portables.

Ramadan 2017 starts on Saturday May 27.
Ramadan has a drastic impact on daily life. #Morocco pushed the clocks back an hour during the holy month so that the f...ast feels like it is ending earlier and the evenings are lengthened. Work days are made shorter during the month to accommodate the additional time spent in prayer and in enjoying festive meals to end the daily fast. Keep in Mind that Many shops, restaurants and offices are closed.
The Ramadan period intensely lived by people, and during the prayer the streets even outside the mosque are overcrowded.
The togetherness and family ties are very strong. Also, people are very hospitable to introduce you to a traditional Ramadan meal.
