Avoid, the town centre is full of Non-English People, Beggers & Drunks.
Ok if you like Pound Shops.
Parking is limited and beware of over Zealous Parking Wardens, much better off travelling to Bury or... Manchester. See More

It's a DUMP!
Full of ignorant people (most of whom can't speak English!! 😠 ).
Looks very dilapidated and tired - needs a good spring clean.
Try Leeds instead!

The Town Hall, Rochdale

Friday 9 February , 6pm – 10.30pm...
Saturday 10 February, 12 noon – 4.30pm & 6pm – 10.30pm

The Gin Society is coming to Rochdale for the very first time with a brand new Gin Festival, where lovers of gin can meet friends and fellow gin fans in the splendid surroundings of the town’s beautiful town hall

If you haven’t experienced a Gin Society festival, you’re in for a treat – we’re in the business of creating a magical experience as you embark on your journey around the world of gin.

At the festival you can enjoy a selection of the world’s finest gins and perhaps learn a few facts you didn’t know about this legendary libation.

With over 120 different gins on offer, you can sample your favourite flavours and discover some exciting new tastes from around the region, the UK and beyond, including a wide range of fashionable fruit gins.

As well as gin, The Gin Society will also be serving their hugely popular sloe gin and prosecco fizz, plus a selection of other prosecco cocktails.

Botanical Brewers Fentimans will be supplying their range of tonic waters.

To add to the fizzy festival atmosphere, there will be vintage music from our resident DJs, A Train Swing and Dr Sid, whose speakeasy sounds take you back to those decadent days when the gin cocktail was king.

Throughout the day and evening, distillers will be sharing their skills in a series of gin Master Classes.

You can also sip taste a range of new and unusual gins at our bespoke Guest Bar and learn a few facts and fibs about how the gin craze began at a special talk where its grisly history will be unfolded.

Early Bird Tickets for each session are now on sale at just £8.50 (plus booking fee), and are the perfect Valentine gift for the gin-lover in your life.
Included in the entry prices is a beautiful bespoke Gin Society gin goblet to keep as a souvenir, plus a booklet of tasting notes.

All gins and tonics plus garnishes are priced at £5.
