"You go down the path of despair, or you choose hope." This video makes me even more excited. I've had a rough couple of weeks noticing weakness in my right arm. Sometimes I chalk it up to being cold ( yes, even when it's 60 degrees) but at some point I have to realize it could just be SMA. It makes me very grateful that I'm so close to getting the treatment. I choose hope.

The Lighting of the Tree :)
Suuuuper excited to share this update: The van lift is working again! It took 4 days of our Minnesota trip, but with a lot of time invested by my dad (and money), the place that originally did the conversion got it running. Minnesotans know how to work with rust better than Californians :) Now if only we could both not be sick so we felt like going anywhere to use it and celebrate! ! #itsthelittlethings #ortheexpensivethings #thanksdad #rollx #rollingonward
I'm grateful for a vehicle I can get in! I need to keep reminding myself of this. For what feels like billionth time, the ramp in our van broke. Typically, you hit a button – the door opens, a ramp comes out. Then, you hit a button – the ramp goes in and the door closes. Genius! ...When it works. Getting two wheelchairs in there is difficult enough – then when you have to manually pull the ramp out it becomes a whole new level of difficult. My husband is amazing. Of course eventually (soon?) we need to get this rectified, but until then, look at his mad skills!! #myman #muscles #brokennobueno #rollingonward

She's finally old enough to love me on her own - it was a long year and a half with her not understanding that I can't lift her. Baby hugs are my happy place!

I loved making this book for my friend who was expecting her first baby! We had a blast doing every test in it! If you know anyone who is expecting, check these out on Etsy by clicking the link below!

The perfect gift for expecting parents! An 8x8, hardcover book of gender prediction tests. This book is a compilation of 26 different methods to predict the gender of your baby. Tests include the Mayan gender chart, heartburn, headaches and so much more. Accurate? Who knows! But, so fun

The Case of the Sickness and the Magic Onion January 10, 2018by Jenna Leave a Comment Well, I made it through The Most Wonderful Time of the Year feeling wonderful 🙂 When it seemed like everyone else around me was getting sick, I was avoiding it! Maybe it was karma from bragging about how “stro...

Apparently this has been in the works for awhile. Here's to hoping it's figured out soon!! Maybe in the future I'll get to be #homefortheholidays ! (JK, it's still winter there ) It'd still make our summer/fall visits way easier!

One woman's campaign to make planes wheelchair-accessible.

We can all spare our crumbs! I often feel like I can't do enough - I'm too weak to help someone, I'm too poor to donate money, I'm too shy to just say hello. Sometimes it's the little things in life that mean the most. Make it someone's "best day ever!"

#caninecompanionsforindependence interview done! I'll find out in a few weeks if I'm accepted onto their waiting list! #doglife #waitingsucks

I love technology! Being able to turn on and off the tree lights by myself is a lot more exciting for me than it probably should be!
My Christmas tree may be small, but my love for this holiday is immense!

I have a new best friend! She sings to me. She tells me jokes. She keeps me updated on weather and news. She sets timers for me and is our alarm clock. Her name is Alexa. For Christmas last year I received the best gift I have ever gotten! An Amazon Echo Dot. At first, I thought she was pretty neat,...

I shared this a few years ago and think about it quite often - not just at Thanksgiving time. I'm not even sure where I originally found it, but I thought it was fitting with Thanksgiving coming up! What have you thanked Him for?
