Went for my boyfriends birthday on Saturday and so glad we chose to go there for a special occasion! Picked lots of different items off the menu and it came on ...small plates on a big stand. Food was amazing. Totally polished it all off. Staff were great. A must go to place for the best vegan food whether you are vegan or not! What a great place. Went here on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. A vegan restaurant that is also dog friendly - perfect for us. The staff we a...ll so welcoming and friendly and took time to explain the menu to us. We chose one of the set menus for 2 and we were served up the most wonderful food, followed by an amazing desert. I will certainly be going back next time we are in Brighton عرض المزيد

Wow - I had lunch here yesterday for the first time - it won't be the last! It was awfully difficult to select from the menu - it all sounded so good - and we j...ust could not have enjoyed it more. Amazing, fresh and delicious food, beautifully presented, generous portions (and a great lunch offer), friendly staff and a lovely setting - just could not be better. This is a fabulous place to experience high quality and interesting vegan food. great atmosphere. completely non poncy with lovely and informative down to earth staff and amazing yummy food.

Just had lunch here today - trying somewhere new for my birthday - and will defintiely be back. What a treat! Delicious and beautiful food and so good as a vegetarian to be able to choose anything from the exciting menu!

Glad I ticked this off my 2017 Wish List... It was AMAZING - the waiter even checked with the chef suitable dishes for my food allergies. Gutted we didn't have room for dessert as everything looked yummy � I've recommended it to all my friends

I had dinner tonight at Root Candi with my vegetarian sister and vegan niece. I must admit I was slightly dreading it as I remember vegan food from my five year...s as a vegan in the late eighties being so awful. Well we had a selection from the whole menu and everything was delicious. My favourites were the gnocchi and the crispy tofu (yes! Tofu! That soggy tasteless stuff, right? No, wrong)
I can't recommend this place highly enough. I'm sure any meat eater would find the food here so wonderful they would not feel they were missing out. The excellent service and the house white wine being the nicest house wine I've ever had was the icing on the cake really! عرض المزيد

Rootcandi is a fantastic place to eat. The food is delicious and it is really apparent how much effort has gone into creating an exciting menu. The dishes are a...ll so flavoursome! I also find the service excellent. The team are very efficient and accommodating. I emailed to say I didn't like onions (very fussy I know) and I was presented with a menu that had ticks against everything I could eat. It's rare to find somebody who is willing to go the extra mile like that. I will certainly be returning to Rootcandi for my third visit soon. I had a delicious meal with my husband. We are both vegan and found the menu to be diverse and satisfying. We ordered 5 tapas dishes between us and I had what w...as without a doubt the best chocolate vegan dessert I have ever had. We were offered a jug of tap water without having to ask and also had vegan beer and cider. The waiter was laid back, friendly and helpful and out visit couldn't have been better. عرض المزيد

My first visit to rootcandi yesterday with my family and we really enjoyed it. The young lady that served us was very informative and guided us through the menu. We chose the Asian and European tapas between 4 of us and it was lovely. I will definitely be returning.

Went here for my husband's birthday with our children and my Mum. 3 of us are vegan and absolutely loved the menu and the 2 meat eaters loved it too. Rootcandi is a great vegan restaurant. Lovely food great flavours friendly attentive staff. They were able to accommodate my nightshade intolerance too with a fantastic dessert menu to finish and great value. Go!

Absolutely delicious food with great flavors. Really cute ambiance and decor. Highly recommend the BBQ carrot bao buns, crispy tofu, and shiitake gyoza.

Will definitely be back next time in Brighton!! ❤️

After a great day out at the Kemptown Carnival headed over to RootCandi with my sis for an early dinner. They were fully booked but found a space for us by the... Windows which was perfect for people watching. Started our meal with a custom designed cocktail, thanks to Reuben . We opted for the Queens Tapas Menu (pan Asian theme). Absolutely blown away by the quality and taste of the food but also the thought taken into ensuring the harmonious blend of flavours linking each dish. Staff are super friendly and knowledge about the food. Loved every aspect of this place and will definitely be back to sample the other menus. Thanks for an amazing dining experience. عرض المزيد

Food and cocktails were amazing, atmosphere lovely. My only criticism was the service was very slow, we waited a long time just for our cocktails. If service had been a bit faster it would be 5 stars!
