My friends and I walked in, we were out for a day just shopping, and looking around didn’t really plan to get tattoos, it was in the moment kind of thing, we walked in asked if we could get tattoos, a...nd they said no problem! The experience
was amazing I was completely satisfied with the outcome of my tattoo! Than I showed the gentleman my horseshoe and how bad it looked. He fixed it up for free! It looks 10 times better than when I first got it done!
Dan was incredibly
nice and personable . He was very thorough with how to take care of the tattoo and did a very good job with the overall tattoo outcome! Not overpriced and very happy with the overall... experience . I am thankful for the time, energy ,detail, and patience. I am proud to be wearing a piece of his artwork.
Went yesterday for a portrait of my sister who passed away in November and it blew me away. Dan was my artist very cool guy and down to earth. He will work with you show you different way on how your ...piece would look the best after he is finished. I highly recommend this tattoo shop and Dan to be your artist.
Went to Rte 60 tattoo, the guy wasn't very interested
in talking to me. Didn't show me any of his work. When I asked for a price he said "I don't know, a lot" then quoted 250 per sessions, 3 sessions ...to do what I want. I asked him for a sketch, he refused until I put down a deposit. His words being " not until we get paid" when I asked if he could sketch something. I'm not putting down a deposit to someone who I have never seen their work and is acting like he can't be bothered, in the middle of an empty, ugly shop. He seemed much more interested in his computer, the place was empty and a dump. Dude's attitude cost him a thigh tattoo, touch up on my back, and a wrist tattoo.
I had the luxury of having Rich Lang do my gorgeous day of the dead tattoo and I am beyond impressed.
Not only is the actual tattoo now a masterpiec e on my body that I am so happy to show off and say ...who did it. But Rich himself makes the environmen t very comfortabl e. I'm not a person that needs to fill the time with conversati on but prefer to listen to music and he had a nice line up of music playing. I would definitely go again, hopefully soon and will refer everyone I know!
Started with just 2 wrist tats and now dan and I are halfway over my whole sleeve. Super nice guy and keeps it very profession
al. Did i forget to mention he is very light on the needle and very fast
Me and my boyfriend get all of our tattoos done here, we don't just use one artist either all of the artist here are very talented and can rely on anyone of them to do a great job. They make you feel ...comfortabl
e and welcome. The shop is also very nice and clean I would recommend this place to anyone that asks
First of all this wasn't my first tattoo. Nick was very nice and gave me exactly what I wanted, but my friend and myself both got an infection.
I can see one of us getting an infection, but the both o...f us. #1 we did not fill out paper work which now I see is a Red Flag. #2 he over worked my tattoo. #3 he was trash talking other tattoo shops. I will never go back there because my tattoo looks horrible, and it has a nice scar in it. If anyone says anything about route 60 I'll be sure to show them my scar and deter them from ever going here.

Nick has done 3 of my tattoos, and out of the 11 I now have the three he did are by far the best. The detail, precision and bright Colors are absolute perfection
. I love that he takes a picture, or ...idea you have, and he puts his own artistic twist in it. That is what true art is. Not to duplicate another's work, but to take likes and possibly some dislikes about another , and add your own personal touch to it. Every tattoo I've got from Nick , he has gone above and beyond just a normal experience , he put his heart and soul into it. I trust him completely . I have a few tattoos that need touched up , or even redone in some cases, and I wouldn't have anyone but Nick touch them. I plan on getting more tattoos in my future, and as long as he never retires I will always go to him. Thanks Nick for your talented gift of loving art and sharing it with the world! Definitely recommend route 60 tattoo
I've allowed a few different artists to work on me through the years and I'd have to say Rich Lang was the best hands down. I've had terrible, terrible experience
s in the past with other artists. Rich... was very patient, an active listener, and he made sure we were on the same creative page before he started tattooing; that helped me trust him which is very important to someone like me. The tattoo he did has great color, shading, & sharp lines. I believe a picture is worth a million words. (Look for the picture<it 's a mandala with a half of a skull in the middle> truly a beautiful back piece) I sat for 5 hours and Rich was patient until the last second. The shop was clean & everyone was friendly. I recommend Rich and Route 60 Tattoo. 5 Stars all around!
As much as I hate writing reports.. I had an amazing experience
and a horrible one. I had work done by two guys here. Dan did a beautiful lily on my back, but nick did what was supposed to be a lion o...n my arm that turned into a sad Jesus.. He explained the stencil didn't come all the way off onto my arm and that he was giving it a more "tradition al" look free handing it.. Then he goes to tell me he's a risk for glaucoma as he's already done half the line work.. Needless to say I don't think it's fixable. And I don't recommend getting work done from him.
