Great news everyone, we received over 1,000 votes on Tuesday! That equates to almost 20 percent of the vote! While this wasn't enough to secure the nomination, it's still something we should all be proud of.
It's astounding that a $300 "Taxation is Theft" campaign, run by my girlfriend and I, could generate that kind of support. On August 2nd, almost 20 percent of the voting population voted for an entirely new paradigm. People are really starting to embrace a more libertarian philosophy and that's a great sign of things to come.
The campaign was never really about winning the nomination anyways, it was about spreading the message of liberty. So as far as I'm concerned, the campaign was outrageously successful! Thanks a million for all the support!!
