Love it so much we’re moving there. Wanted to give a huge shoutout to Justin who is in the process of building our eco-friendly container home with solar, water catchment, food forest, and a beautiful... view of the Pacific. We can’t wait to be part of this wonderful sustainable community and learn more about permaculture principles. See More

This place is my dream. A community that embodies my values, where you still have plenty of space. And it's absolutely gorgeous! Justin is not a developer. He is there, doing the work and making stuff... happen. Great location as well. ♥ See More

I was whisked out of a previous voluntary place, by Justin, when the place was feeling like home anymore. He was on the way to a Jane Goodall lecture in the town I was at and offered to drive me up. T...he whole process was very quick becasue he was on top of his emails and picked me up when I was feeling down. Justin then set me up in a basement apartment very much to my liking and I proceeded to volunteer for the next month and a half taking the weekneds off and going to the beach or small trips around the area. I learned a lot about permaculture whilst staying here...y yo puedo hablar mucho mas español porque yo tuve un bien maestro Nelson :)

Also, I progressed considerably in my mentality of accepting reality as it is and moving on...as opposed to refusing it and mentally fighting it. Simple observation of Justin and his way of being were sufficient to spark new life and progression into developing myself further as a loving person. Thanks a lot!

Oh and being able to pick Guanabana (New amazing fruit for me), Mangoes, and Guaba (Ice Cream Bean) straing from the tree as I played disc golf on Tuesday's with the guys was the icing on the cake!

Saint Michael's Sustainable Community is running out of room for new plants. We have over 100 different types of fruits. Here are the newest additions from Peter Krings amazing farm Finca La Isla in Puerto Viejo. How many of these plants do you know?

Turn this concept into reality. For $129 a square foot this home can be custom tailored to your needs. As with every home in our community it will come with an edible landscaping chock full of beyond organic food, medicine, and utility plants in a permaculture design. Come see why having a plan makes our intentional community the best place to invest your life, health, and security.

If you live in St. Michael's we will do it for you. It is that important.
