Acts of Kindness March Update for today 18th March
For the first time ever the weather has beaten us, so we will not be going out gardening today.
We will still be meeting for brunch, so if you fancy a nice wintry walk you can still come along for 10:30 and join us for brunch, coffee (or tea) and a chat.
Tonight's Tower Hamlets Citizens meeting preparing our Citizens’ Agenda for the 2018 Mayoral Accountability Assembly due to be held at Queen Mary University of London on 17th of April
Good opportunity to discuss issues that impact the whole community. Great to hear people share.
Acts of Kindness Update for Tomorrow 18th March -
Just a quick note to say that we are keeping an eye on the weather and will let you know in the morning if we are going out into the cold!
At the moment its not looking good but we will make a final decision in the morning and email out and post on facebook.
Being in the heart of London a great public transport network is vital in keeping us out of cars. But for when we do end up using a car its interesting to consider the difference the option of electric cars could bring. Jan has highlighted that Tower Hamlets are running a consultation on this https://www.pclconsult.co.uk/evchargers and also asking where charging points are needed:
A good point being made is that without any infrastructure how will people move to this cleaner model. Take a look and have your say.
Looking forward to celebrating Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday in just a few weeks. This is a great opportunity for you to join us and encounter God. For more information, please message us. It would be great to hear from you!
