While Pearl, the matriarch goat with a knack for opening doors and hearts clearly stole mine, Dudley, the stoic steer with his... prosthetic hind limb nudged a little place in there as well, as the good folk of The Gentle Barn Tennessee showed their Aussie friends around their picturesque sanctuary. Many thanks to Andrea and Stephanie for being such amazing hosts - love your work. Rounding out our magical day was a vegan feast at Sanctuary Vegan Cafe, where the effervescent Leslie opened her doors and menu for our culinary pleasure. To anyone who is in coo-ee (that’s Aussie slang for nearby) this kind and gentle café, do your taste buds a treat and try the tofu fingers, then send them into a frenzy with a cupcake to fly across the world for!
