I ate here the first time this past week. The food is amazing quality and the fresh pita is out of this world. It was like stepping back into my childhood when we got to eat arabic food every evening.

We have eaten Mediterranean all over the US and the Mediterranean. That said, this place is AWESOME! If you live in Raleigh or are just travelling through. Run, don't walk, to Sassool for the best Mediterranean food around! We will definitely be back!

Tuesday night children eat free .. .the most wonderful Lebanese spagetti. I go on Tuesdays, get the spagetti and tabouli and other fresh salads. Their 'pies' are like pizza without the tomato sauce.

I'm all the way in Youngsville, NC and will make the 35 minute drive over to the North Raleigh location just to get food here. I feel good about what I'm eating tno matter what I choose.

My boss recently brought in lunch from Sassool's and I could not have been happier. All the food was fresh and delicious. This was my first time eating their food but I definitely plan to go back for more. Highly recommended.

Quite possibly the best and freshest food. Definitely a favorite. Our kids love it too. Have to give a thumbs up to the market as well. Excellent prices and authentic products.

Anytime I'm in the area, I plan to eat here. The food is so fresh and nourishing, and tastes amazing. Many options for those with dietary restrictions or allergies. Mujadara with lebnah is to die for!

This place has become a regular favorite since discovering it through a friend. Fresh, delicious, healthy and inexpensive! What more could you ask for?! Absolutely love the vegetable lasagna! (And the baklava is amazing)

This food was phenomenal! Each item was cooked to perfection down to the bed of rice my amazing falafel lay on!!! I highly recommended this establishment and plan to frequent it often. Sassool you are delicious!!!!

This place is really damn good. I really like the irregular shaped bargain baklava that comes off the edge of the pan. Fabulous. Hummus is incredible. Also, best roast beef sandwich in Raleigh, on a pita, with a little extra secret sauce. Very nice. Needs draft beer is the only negative.

Unless there’s an emergency, my wife and I eat at Sassool’s daily. The authentic Lebanese/Mediterranean cuisine is both appetizing and healthy. If eaten for a n...umber of years, it has been shown to reduce the risks of developing heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure (hypertension), type 2 diabetes, Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. Following the diet has also been linked with a reduced risk of early death and has proved a successful strategy for healthy weight reduction.

Between the two of us, we have lost 50 pounds over the past eight months as a result of eating the freshly prepared entrees at Sassool. The Mayo Clinic website says of the Mediterranean diet, “If you're looking for a heart-healthy eating plan, the Mediterranean diet might be right for you. The Mediterranean diet incorporates the basics of healthy eating — plus a splash of flavorful olive oil and perhaps even a glass of red wine — among other components characterizing the traditional cooking style of countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.” عرض المزيد
