They do have a pull through dump station, roads are paved but still dangerous. We had a truck come flying over the hill head on with us and we was pulling our camper. Grounds are still not close to level. Power went out no one came around to tell us anything or even check on anyone and beings the power went out the water went down due to electric pumps. We tried calling them even left a message they wouldn't answer a phone. But they did come to tell us to shut the music off at 10 p.m... but on a positive note there is a playground for the kids to play, the lake was nice and where we were at seasonals across from us was really nice. It was a quiet Campground... I just wished that they would have cared enough about their customers to have come around check on people let them know what was going on and even if they wouldn't had known how long the power was going to be out at least had the courtesy to tell them instead of dodging them... First time here. Halloween weekend was a blast! Loved the trick or treat at night and how much people got involved with it!
Beach looks good and water looks clear hope to check that out next summer
What can I say about the haunted trail! So cool and so much fun! Definitely will be back!

I spent the better part of 18 years camping and making a lot of good friends there. Great place for fun and fishing.

Amazing campground! Plan on being treated like family! Newly redone main road, and bathrooms near the check-in. Beach is on the smaller side, but it won't matter as you'll be in the water playing with.../on all the great toys! Tons of different inflatables, change every season, also paddle boards, kayaks, and other rentals available. Great place! LOVE! See More

Went up to join family (they rented a pontoon boat) and we spent the day on the water. Everyone on the boat caught fish (none too big, but some nice bass). The water was warm enough to swim or just pu...t your legs in the water from the end of the boat. The people I met (working at the general store) were very friendly and it appeared there was more than enough for kids to do (nice little beach area). I'll surely go back. Well done Scenic Ridge. The campground was pretty awesome. We stayed over Mother's Day weekend and they offered Mother's Day themed crafts for kids during the day and they also had a Mom craft time during the evening (we got... to paint our own wine glasses). Both craft activities were free! The campsites were very spacious and fairly level. I did not use the bathrooms, but we did use showers. They were on the small side and did not have good pressure or hot water (which is typical for campgrounds). The playground area for the kids was great and conveniently located from our site. The biggest downfall would be the distance from the campsites to the beach/fishing pond. If we had stayed during warmer weather, a golf cart would have to be rented in order to get to the water, as the distance would be too far to walk (especially when carrying everything needed for a day on the beach with kids). The road going in and out of the campsite was paved but extremely narrow. The new dump station was conveniently located on the way out. See More

The staff were very friendly and helpful. But, when we had called to make our reservation a few months ago we asked for a full hook up and a pull thru site. They do not have full hook ups as we where... told. There pull thru are on grass. So, needless to say because it was raining the day we arrived our 38ft 5th wheel and truck tore up there grass. The gentleman working there literally had to push our truck out once we unhooked because all we did was spin in the mud we had created. There dump station is up a hill that you have to back up too. Yeah, right. They will come to your unit on Monday and Thursday mornings to empty you out for $15. But, they don't start til 10am and the camp sites are the last group as they do all the permanent campers first. They offer golf carts for $55/day. Nothing is in walking distance (ie. The lake, camp store, bath house) from the camp sites. They do have port a Johns and a play area for kids. The roads coming on to the property are narrow. You can't have more then 1 car going. There is no place to pull over. The roads are graveled.
So, even though the people working there were SO FRIENDLY, we would never go back there again.

Roads are SUPER narrow! Barely wide enough one way to pull a camper and the hills are killer. We had to change sites right away because we couldn't get level after trying everything with leveling bloc...ks. The site we settled on had a huge stump right in front of our door. Had to keep a table over that all weekend. You had to back in to dump. Yeah I said that right back in off a narrow almost one way road that is the only way in and out of the place. We didn't even attempt. We will not be back. See More

We were there with a group and had 3 sites right next to each other. Make sure if you are the one reserving the sites, you tell your group NOT to pull into the front office with a camper. It's a dea...d end and you will have to back out. Give them the site # and go set up, then come back and check in.
The roads are VERY hills, curvy and NEED to be repaved until you get to the very back of the campground. They should really redo the roads!!! The sites in the back were we stayed were roomy. We had P33-34. Nice gravel spot for the camper and then a good size grass area. The fire pit could be a bit larger.
We did not check out the shower house, but the porta johns need to be kept up better! We had 2 just up from us, but there are scatter out pretty good. They hadn't been empty or tended to all weekend. They are no lights by them, so bring one at night.. I have been to state parks that have cleaner smelling pit toilets.. If you have water and electric sites right next to the porta johns you could then add a light at least.
We would go back with our group if the group didn't have to leave for any reason. So guess the biggest plus is the size of the site.

Awesome place! We will definitely be placing this campground on our list of regulars!! First time here for their 1st weekend of Halloween fun and you guys ROCK!!! From the painting of / gourds and ...hunt for the kids to the wagon rides and haunted trail!! We had a blast! Our kids had the best time ever. They sure loved running the haunted trail during the day but when night came all 4 were crying . Id like to give a big thank you to Richie who calmed all the kids down from spaz mode and the owner who walked my friends son through the trail while letting us 2 ladies get the full effect! Our little girls couldn't handle the scare so they stayed behind! Thank you to all the staff for the hard work you put in to helping make awesome memories for everyone! We'll definitely be back this summer and again for Halloween! You guys ROCK!!! Until next season.......⛺️️!!! See More

We have camped here for several years, love this place. So much to do for adults and kids. Have watched the continuous improvements made every year, from the jump pad and water slide up top to the slides and trampoline down in the water. Looking forward to seeing what's new for 2016! See More

I may be biased, I am related to the owners. My review is on my experience with our guests at Scenic Ridge Campground. Our seasonal campers are like my extended family! Some of the most loving and people I know. Always excited to lend a hand with activities or with helping my two energetic children have an amazing time while we are there! Exceptional people make for an unforgettable experience every time we are there! I feel blessed to be a part of the amazing team at Scenic Ridge Campground! See More
