A really welcome addition to any parent who has children in school! Helps one so much with keeping up with school events and social gatherings. Great place to get to know whose parents belong to which... children! Very helpful for play dates, general questions about school and a great forum to bring up any questions of concern or suggesting a charity event/ run. The list is endless.
Bravo! And love the new name- catchy.

Much friendlier to new families, who can join the Classlist part way through the school year without the Class Rep needing to 're-issue' the list. The list is updated right away. When you email the cl...ass it is always to the latest list. See More

Anne Milton Minister of State opened the BETT conference today. It was very interesting to hear the Government's thoughts on the place of technology in Education. But how do schools afford it? Is your PTA working to raise money for a technology fund? What are you planning to buy for the school?

In case you are interested, here are some of our favorite quotes:

"We recognise that EdTech can play a vital role – as a tool for teachers in our schools, colleges and Universities."

...

"The UK is a global EdTech hub at the forefront of technological developments and discoveries; constantly developing innovative new learning methods and technology.

"At the same time technology can keep people awake at night!

"Many feel they lack the budget or the expertise to use it.

It's blue Monday today but there's no need to be down. New research from the clever people at Harvard has found that being connected to other people in the community makes us happier and healthier. (Now you've got an excuse for that latte). Why not get the school parents together for a coffee to warm up your school community and kick off the term in a friendly way for your PTA? We heard of one PTA setting up a coffee to welcome a new family to the school. How nice is that? (Ambassador Tip: Use Classlist community events to set it up in a couple of clicks).
