Chairman's Cup entries close at noon today.

Here's a slightly edited email from basketballscotland sent out a few weeks ago -

"To streamline the entry process all entries MUST be submitted via AZOLVE by no later than the below dates (no entries after these dates will be accepted):


CHAIRMAN’S CUP – FRIDAY 12TH AUGUST @ Noon by clicking HERE. -

Follow the instructions below to make your entry:

1. Click HERE to login to the ‘Events & Courses’ Portal with your normal club admin details; e.g. Username: ME123456 Password: password
2. Click on the ‘Events & Courses’ tab
3. Scroll down and click on the ‘Competitions’ Tab
4. Select the competition that you would like to enter and ‘Add to Cart’ (note that you will have to enter each league one by one)
5. Once you add the event to the cart you will receive a pop up message titled ‘Cart Updated’ with two options. Select as appropriate:
a. If you wish to enter more leagues click ‘No, Not Yet’
b. If you have finished and are ready to finalise your entries click ‘ Yes, Pay Now’
6. Once you have finished selecting all your entries click on ‘Menu’ at the top left of the page and click the ‘Cart’ tab to finalise following the below instructions:
a. Check all league entries are correct and update appropriately in your cart before proceeding
i. To pay by Cheque or Bank Transfer select ‘Pay by Invoice’ and follow the process on screen (Remember to click the ‘Download a PDF Invoice’ Button for your records)
ii. To pay by Debit/Credit Card select ‘Pay with Card’ and follow the process

*This can only be completed by the club secretary or relevant portal administrator at the club.

Note that this application is for SBC Scottish Cup and Chairman’s Cup at Under 16 and above ONLY.

Under 14 Scottish Cup entries will be published no later than mid-August with the end of August as a deadline.

For Local Leagues & Regional Development Leagues please contact your Regional Development Officer or local/regional associations.

Please read and complete all sections carefully ensuring you have entered all teams that you require and note that no team is guaranteed entry regardless of their previous competition entries.

Good Morning,

We have had 1 new teams register since last week now bringing the total up to 11 teams. Only 5 more teams required, so if you have not yet got a team in, get your entry in before it is too late! Still a number of people have stated they are interested in putting in a team or their club may have a second team to enter the tournament. If so please get your entries in.

As announced we have confirmed winners will receive the coveted trophy as well as being invited to play a 3 v 3 game against The Rocks Pro players at one of their practice sessions. A great chance to play against the pros as see how your skills match up against them.

The tournament will be open to SLBA players/teams only. Teams will consist of 4 players and there is no limit on the number of teams from each basketball club. Teams can have players from a mixture of clubs and divisions within the SLBA and so not solely restricted being in the same SLBA team or league.

basketballscotland have annouced that entries for the Scottish Basketball Championships (2016-17) are NOW OPEN for Under 16, Under 18 and Senior Levels.
Scottish Cup (senior, U18, U16, U14) & Chairman’s Cup entries will be published no later than July.
