I had a great afternoon teaching these brilliant Girl Scouts how to make soap.
We learned a little about the chemistry behind soap making, the environmental impact and sustainability of some of the ingredients and the artistry/craftsmanship as well.

We really enjoyed watching this video. This is how high production soap is made without a high tech factory. This isn't how we make soap, we're more of a small batch maker, making 50 bars at a time.
