I absolutely love belonging to this service oriented club. I've been part of so many different projects - cleaning local beaches, distributing food to people in need, and even building a school in Gua...temala. Along the way I've made life long, meaningful friendships with people whose values match my own. Truthfully, joining this club was one of the best decisions I've ever made. See More

Love this Rotary club. Lots of diverse and impactful hands-on opportunities to help around San Diego and even abroad. Everyone is very fun and friendly.

A very progressive club with young professionals on the move.

This past Wednesday our club volunteered at Feeding America sorting food. We went through 4,200lbs of onions and 2,240lbs of oranages - seperating the good/edible ones from the bad. Needless to say we all smelled pretty odd by the end of the night, but it was well worth it!

Come out and join us tomorrow night as we volunteer at Feeding America! It's one of our club's favorite organizations to volunteer with!

What a great day we had volunteering at The Living Coast Discovery Center with members of Pacific Beach Roteract joining us! We planted over 40 shrubs in cement-like dirt, watered and re-watered their entire Pollinator Garden, got to have a guided plant tour from their Horticulturist Paul, and then were free to roam about the center to check out all their exhibits. Of course, no volunteer event in Chula Vista would be complete without a visit to Tacos El Gordo 👌🏽. #dogoodandhavefun #rotaryinternational #tacosarelife

Our speaker this week is Mr. Navroj "Nuvi" Mehta from the San Diego Symphony. He is their pre-concert lecturer, multimedia presenter, and community outreach coordinator. He is also a master violinist and will be giving us a brief overview of upcoming events at the symphony, as well as a private violin concert. His playing is a treat to hear, and he is one of the best storytellers around. You won't want to miss this meeting - as always guests are welcome!

Don't forget to bring a White Elephant gift for our club Christmas party this Wednesday! It should be something no more than $20ish in value, wrapped, and ideally gender neutral. Other than that the world is your oyster - the gift can be something funny, unusual, or really nice - you choose! The better your gift the more likely it is to be stolen during the exchange 😎. See everyone at Jenny's this Wednesday at 6! #rotaryinternational #christmasparty #letsgetweird

A great reminder about what Polio was like and how thankful we are that Rotarians have helped almost eradicate this horrible disease!

Paul Alexander spends nearly every hour, of every day cocooned in his iron lung, his body being forced to breathe. This was life before the polio vaccine.

The Board nomination process starts this week! If you're interested in serving on the 2018-2019 board, let Craig know which position and you'll be added to the ballot. Serving on the board is a wonderful way to grow closer to your fellow Rotarians and really help your club!
