Solar Energy Is Revolutionary

You know this is pretty revolutionary stuff that is. It's so thrilling to have Senator Sanders here today to see what he's been actually a huge part of at Green Mountain Power, which is a project. We worked with the Department of Energy on which is really transforming. It's about taking landfill solar with storage and providing not just a micro grid and improve resiliency for Rutland, but a renewable energy storage project where we are able to save our customers literally hundreds of thousands of dollars by leveraging the storage and the solar capacity.
