- This is one of the toughest statuses I (Phil) will ever get to post. For nearly 9 years I have dreaded the day I had to tell you all this, even how I would do it.
We had an SB meeting the other night and 2 of our members came forward letting us know they are being pulled another direction in life in the next coming months (the last status we posted jinxed us haha).
Now most of you know as t...he only original member left I typically go through member changes every year or two in this band, only this time I feel more changes like this is just too much for this band now. God has blessed this band with fulfilling any dream we had since we played our first show December 10th, 2005.
We got to touch many lives meeting so many epic people, opened for some of the biggest bands as well as our personal favorites, nailed sweet dream endorsements, got signed to labels, toured the country and had a blast in the meantime!
We feel it's time to close the book of this particular adventure and one of the biggest parts of our lives and my life especially (as many of you know) to allow us to go the directions God is calling each of us. So as I wipe the tears away as I post one of the hardest things ever, here it is officially: Senseless Beauty 2005-2014
Me and Marcus will be starting something new (obviously it will still have the heart of SB in the sound no matter the style we do, get in touch with one of us if you are a serious musician and want in on this new project!!) while Alex is pursuing school and Zach is following his college degree and becoming a youth Pastor (hit him up if your church needs one) and Nate our tech is going after his dream of body piercing at River City Tattoo.
We will be booking and playing out some last shows in the coming months (message us if you would like to book a last show) check out the dates near you and I promise you the very last SB show will be one of the most beautiful, touching, and epic works of art that we have ever done and it will be whichever night we play at Bash on the Farm in Forest City, IA this June 20th or 21st (we will keep you posted exactly when). It will include an array of old and current music along with past and present SB members, maybe even a dvd shoot. DO NOT MISS IT!!!!
Thank you all for supporting us all these years, God bless and hopefully we will see you at one of our last shows!!! We love you all!! - This last summer we got the opportunity to meet an amazing and musically talented guy named Ben at a local show in a bar. At this show many people set the drinks down and joined hands with us to pray with Ben who was fighting a very rough battle with his health. We relayed a message on to all of you to keep him and his family in prayers. This morning we got word he passed on to join a band with... angels in heaven where he will be able to bless their ears with his musical excellence. We ask that you continue to keep his family in prayer as they mourn the loss of an amazing man and father. We are thankful to have the privilege to meet Ben and be inspired by a kind hearted man who barring his health battles still pursued his music dreams and showcased his amazing talent. - Machine Gun Kelly just released a disclaimer for his production team's strobe lights on his show tickets. We already do that. Except, it's more then strobe lights its a couple hundred LEDs, flood lights, and no production team.
