GSA is practical, not a fancy group where people just have fun.You can have fun here, but this group is far more than that.

Hey all, I wanted to pass this information on to all of you. In our Academic Senate meeting yesterday, we approved a resolution to support GTA/GAs in the form of tuition waivers/remission. I am very happy about this as I have been in those committee meetings advocating on behalf of graduate students before this document reached the senate. While there is not a set policy in place as of yet, the university is moving in the right direction to support our esteemed graduate stude...nts.
