A special milestone for these 10 brothers and sisters, and also for our church community. As Jesus continues to change lives may we continue to be fully yielded to His Spirit working through us for the transformation of our lives and the people around us.
May this lead us to pray that we would be a genuinely fruitful church.
Here are 5 signs of a genuinely fruitful church:
1. A growing esteem for Jesus Christ
2. A discernible spirit of repentance
3. A dogged devotion to the Word of ...God
4. An interest in theology and doctrine
5. An evident love for God and love for neighbor
In line with St Valentine's, Dr Matthew and Brother David perform 'Love Changes Everything' at the service. We are reminded that the greatest love, the source of all our love, is the love of God. That love transforms rough and unschooled fishermen to become radical disciples of love; proud elitist religious leaders to become willing bondslave to proclaim the gospel to the poor and to irreligious enemies; to come to see oneself as the chief of sinners yet a beloved child of the Sovereign. Yes, love changes everything!
The first sermon of the year was on the text Matthew 28:18-20, the Great Commission. Here's something to read about why it still matters to our church. http://www.jesus.org/…/the-great-commission-does-it-still-m…
Church is not a religious institution for just the vertical dimension of worship. We exist to form deep friendships for life. Work is hard without friends. So is life.
We prayed for the nation this morning at Prayer Breakfast. The Lord has met with us, the Lord has heard our prayers, and trusting the Lord will answer our prayers.
Let's now look forward to 29 August, and journey through a meaningful time with God at the Prayer Trail! Save the date!
What is Creation?
Creation started from a burden for passionate worship and true repentance among Baptist youths and young adults. This year’s theme for the Baptist youth rally, WORD, seeks to encourage youths to encounter the eternal Word in an ever-changing world.

Today's sermon outline from Acts 8:1-15
Great joy is experienced when there is:
1. Imparting of the gospel
2. Impacting of lives for Jesus
3. Identifiable experience of God's Spirit....
Amen. May we go deeper into the gospel and receive its power in our lives for the joyful and glorious purpose of God in the lives of his people.
On 5 July our regular English Sunday Worship Service will be replaced by this exciting prayer service. Please note all these key pointers and direct any questions to Pastor Anthony Yeoh
Jesus taught in Luke 11 the main solution to our lack of passion for prayer: a right theological view of God. He is not an unwilling friend who is in bed and gets up only after we keep persevering in prayer. We need the right view of God by believing what the gospel reveals about him. He is so receptive to us, pleased with us because of the faith he gave us to trust his Son for our righteousness and acceptability to God.
He is pleased with us because Jesus satisfied his wrat...h and he gave us faith in his work to make us acceptable to God on our behalf. Heb 11:6
We take one step towards God, he takes 10 steps towards us!
1 John 4:13-16. Do not depend on your love for God to lead you to pray to him. It simply is not consistent and reliable. Rather depend on his love for you. That is unchanging and completely reliable. Believe the gospel for all of your growth into spiritual maturity!
