I am so thankful that my new husband and I chose to hold our reception at the Sheraton Eatontown. I had heard amazing things about the events held there and I was so impressed with just how smoothly e...verything went the day of our wedding. There were absolutely no hiccups along the way and Corey and Denise were so helpful and organized the entire time. The cocktail hour and reception was amazing and put together beautifully and my whole family didn't have to worry about anything! The service was fantastic and the ballroom was beautiful and everyone kept telling us that it was perfect night! See More

The staff at Sheraton Eatontown treated my guest, groom & I Horribly. If you wish to be treated disrespectfully & unprofessionally then this is the place for you.
I can not express how disappointed I... was the morning of the wedding to find out my reception room was switched to a much smaller room.
When the staff was contacted we were told that was what was written on the "contract", no compassion and no apology.
We were talked down to rudely by corey whom was one of the managers who went missing most of the time during our wedding when we needed assistance most.
Another big concern was that Corey left my wedding bill on the gift table. Multiple guest/family read the bill and then told the mother of the bride. When the mother of the bride approached Corey to tell him he left the bill on the table he told her, he told her he was waiting for us. The mother of the bride told him it was his responsibility to give it to us in our hands.
After the wedding we spoke with Corey & told him it was very unprofessional & embarrassing to leave the bill for my guest to read because it was no ones business. He replied by stating the bill was not on the first page.
I was taken back, because regardless it shouldn't have happened. I should have received an apology, not excuses.
The next morning when I spoke with Denise we informed her that several wine bottles were taken home. Many people post them on social media saying thanks for the wedding souvenirs. Denise response was simply that they can lose their liquor license.
On the contract we had stated we wanted 1 wine bottle per table. However, During the wedding 2 wine bottles were at the table, I wanted to prevent my guest from becoming Intoxicated because of their 2-3 hour commute. However, the servers replenished the tables with 3-4 wine bottles a table, at a time.
My wine bill reached the quadruple limit we wanted & "39 bottles" of wine consumed.
It Shows to me that whatever system was used so keep track of the bottles, did not work. How was the staff not aware of this ?!?
My problem isn't that our bill was high, it was that guest took bottles home & the staff did not notice.
Your website states that we should have gotten a complementary wedding night suite & A customize wedding cake. Those of which we never received nor was never mentioned.
The GM and all management was reached out also and still nothing was done about this. It's extremely upsetting & distasteful to have such disappointment on your wedding day.

This locations only redeeming quality is the newly renovated hotel rooms. The pool is closed for renovations which would be fine if everything posted didn’t say February. I am staying here for work an...d was looking forward to using the gym and pool area for the time I’m here. The restaurant is very awkward. I was the ONLY guest having dinner last evening. The waiter was good but kept staring at me. The cost of food was fare to high for the quality. See More

It was my 40th birthday surprise party and I had a blast. People at the Sheraton were polite and professional. Everyone in my party kept on telling me that they had great service. The food was delici...ous and hot. Since I arrived a little late the ice on the soda pitcher melted and they changed for us. I recommend the Sheraton for your next activity. See More

Terrible service. I checked I with with the confirmation number and the receptionist checked us into the honeymoon suite. Thankfully it was for the wedding we were at. I was informed that there was no...thing they could do and was referred to a manager that may or may not be in tomorrow. So since they screwed up we’re left in a room less than what we reserved and told to kick rock. Horrible. Avoid at all costs. See More

This was our second stay at this hotel (last stay was over 6 years ago). The hotel is showing signs of wear, but they're also in the midst of renovating the facility, so the appearance should improve.... The Front Desk and restaurant wait staff were all pleasant, polite, and helpful. The pool and fitness center were out of towels, and no one brought new ones when the desk was called, but overall the stay was enjoyable. See More

Service was much too slow.....dinner was too expensive...drinks were too expensive, asked for tea instead of coffee and was handed a teabag and poured a cup of "brown water"...then there was no sugar ...at our table, so the waiter took the sugar off our neighboring table...and the sugar packets were stained with coffee drippings and hardened inside.

It was disgusting and if I could find out who to ask for a refund, I would.

I will not be returning to this establishment...and will certainly find more professional and clean establishments in the future.

If I could leave a negative #, I would. We stay at Sheraton hotels all the time & are SPG members. Always treated with respect. This time, however, we used our accumulated points to stay 1 night. From... the moment we booked the room, to our stay, everyone was completely rude. We're assuming because no money exchanged hands, they thought we didn't deserve the same respect that money paying guests get. Even the pool attendant was rude. The jacuzzi was not on, & when we asked the attendant, he said, "turn it on yourself." However, this is something we could not do, he had to unlock it. Because of this experience, we will never choose to stay at this particular Sheraton. Terrible experience. See More

Service for event was less then average. Half of the crowd was gone when coffee came out, had to direct the waitress to the table for dessert. She had a don't bother me look to her. Dinner was late a...nd not accommodating for vegetarians. Then half way through the dinner a vegetarian meal appeared, um lousy service. Also had to explain to the wait staff to leave the decorations on the table and it's not for them to play with. See More

Fair at best. Chairs in the lobby are clearly worn out and old. Went to a business dinner and the glasses on the table were not clean, stains on the walls of the main ballroom, table cloths had stain...s all over them and the bar in the ballroom sold drinks at higher prices than Jrs lounge just 50 feet away. Wine was $10 in the ballroom and $6 in the lounge. They were price gouging the ballroom guests. See More

Place looked very nice and everyone was friendly. They didn't seem aware of what vegan is even though they offered it as a meal option. First two courses came out with cheese and the salad was Caesar.... Then my entree was a pasta dish which was fine but first course was also pasta with red sauce. Felt like a half attempt to cater to my request, while if I had known they couldn't accommodate me I would have just brought my own food. See More

Hosted my company holiday party at the Sheraton. The room was nicely decorated and perfect size for our group. The food was very good (we had the buffet with chicken, fish and beef)). Only negative w...ould be that the staff was not very friendly and didn't seem happy to be there. We went to JR's after karaoke. Fun atmosphere. See More

No fridge in the room and the ice machine the 4th floor not working.... someone must be smoking in the utilities room because I smell cigarette smoke and I'm allergic to it... not good need some imp...rovement!
And yes the always are very dirty specially the 4th floor and the tub is in need of a good scrubbing :(

Awful No refrigerator in my room but if I want to rent one its 15 dollars a night. The entrance and desk area are clean but the rest of the place is filthy. The bar claims they're open til 2am but ...calls last call at 1250 on a sat night with about 20 pissed off people in the bar. If you have a good amount of people in your bar you should stay open until you legally have to close This place doesn't seem to care about pleasing their customers or making easy money See More

We've stayed at the Eatontown Sheraton 2 to 3 times a year since 2013 with pleasnt experience. Ever since ownership changed hands late 2015, the hotel has gone down hill. Hallways were filthy. Carpet... stained. Pills from previous guests found on the floor. (Hope we slept on clean sheets). Housekeeping poor. Room keys did not work. And even though the front desk staff were pleasant, they didn't follow through with promised fixes. It took 2 days for the debris at our room door to be picked up. Room keys changed twice still not working. See More

I stayed here for my son and daughter in law's wedding. They shuttled the guests to the wedding which was so accommodating. The rooms and staff were top notch. We had lunch in the bar area and breakfa...st the before checking out and the food was fabulous. I would highly recommend staying here. See More

The room was fine, the hotel is a little run down and not really close to anything. So, you will need to have a car. Fire alarm went off in the night, annoying, but we got to see cute firemen. Food... was okay and drinks were okay. Bartender, waitress and staff were all great. See More

Great hotel. Nice clean and helpful staff. Only little thing that really bugged me was the outside of the windows are dirty so it wasn't a great view. And they screwed the part of the window close so ...it couldn't open. But small thing compared to everything else was great. Food was good too. Kids enjoyed the pool :) See More

Was there for a seminar. Staff was friendly. Nice breakfast table set up. Room was warm and the internet connection was horribly slow for what we needed. We pre-ordered lunch and one lunch arrived so ...late the theee of us had finished our meal. See More
