Wow, the crowd tonight were as hot as the band! Singing, dacing, moving and shaking, we love playing at The Gate Inn, Loscoe. Thanks to Emma and a wonderful crowd; we did indeed Let the Good Times Roll.
Hi Shiners and Shinettes, we are about to play one of our favourite places, The Gate at Loscoe. We love it because the crowd are always ready for a good night and a dance, and Elvis sometimes comes along...Join us this Saturday 24th, and Let the Good Times Roll!
The French Horn at Codnor rocked last night! What a great evening, celebrating Alan's birthday. Thank for those who came to see us and for the movers and shakers on the dancefloor; you all made it a special evening.
We have another newbie to Shine gigs coming tonight, and we are adding a song in her honour. It got me thinking, perhaps I should ask this: what songs do you think would suit us? If we like it, we'll dedicate it to you live. Silly suggestions welcome too of course, it what we Brits excel in (Boaty McBoat face!)
Pssst! Hey! The Shine are playing at a birthday event this Saturday, but we can get you in! Come along to The French Horn in Codnor and say you're with the band, and join the party. Let the Good Times Roll!
Well what an evening at The Dixies in Lower Bagthope! It felt like the whole pub was singing, amazing people, and I even had a marriage proposal!
We really enjoyed playing there and so many people want is back, so bring it on! Let the Good Times Roll!
Everyone talks about the good old days. People wish that they could travel back in time, to when life was simpler, no constant connectivity, good honest chat decent beer...you know how it goes? Well, for one night only The Shine are giving you the chance! Travel tonight through the time portal to see The Shine play at The Dixies Arms in Lower Bagthorpe, to a tradional pub, with proper beer, good conversation (inbetween sets!) and no phone signal! It's going to be an old-fashioned busy band night so get there before we start at 9pm!
Takamine EF340SC NS pro Japanese electro acoustic guitar and Takamine hard case.
This is a Natural Series guitar. Takamine made these to sound as pure as possi...ble, keeping resonant wood free to vibrate. Rosette, bridge pins, even the dot markers are wood!
Everyone who has heard or played this has said how good it sounds.
It has the CTBII preamp with tuner and the famous Palethetic pickup system. It is a hand made Japanese pro guitar, which sits alongside those used by Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi,The Eagles, Biffy Clyro and Garth Brooks, but to name a few.
The top has some surface damage as there is no scratchplate, but nothing structural and the price reflects this (£1000 nearest new guitar). There are other use marks but nothing serious. It has been gigged, but cased and looked after. Low action, pro set up so no issues. Can demo with an acoustic amp. Sounds beautiful. No trades, cash on collection only.
