Just a quick hint for newcomers to the shop...due to some very unfair city regulations, our building, the Franklin Building, has no retail signage to announce what shops are within the building, making it challenging, at times, to find us. No Moontide Arts sign on the building. Only Franklin Building and 50 Public Square. We're not, technically, allowed to put out sandwich board, sidewalk signs, though we do, but high winds and sometimes other factors make putting out our sid...ewalk sign unreliable...so sometimes the shop is open, but the sidewalk sign is inside. Anyhoo...please accept this unfortunate foible, along with our sometimes unreliable shop hours (I have health issues and my mom, who fills in when my health prevents me from working, is 80, so she, too, sometimes can't always make it in)...again...anyhoo...aside from being a bit difficult to find and having quirky hours (Noon-5, Tue-Sat), Moontide truly is worth a visit. Think of the Franklin Building as Watertown's very own Diagon Alley... well, not quite, but we're getting there.
After viewing my "cluttered" video of the shop several more times, I decided there was definitely plenty of space for more...more everything, so that's what's coming...more of everything...tarot cards, tarot boxes, crystal storage boxes, more crystals, bells, singing bowls, statuary, candles, leather journals, incense, incense holders, alter cloths, and more. Don't you worry about where I'll be putting things. It will all get displayed, all managing to fit in...a kind of magi...ckal puzzle, with the pieces fitting in just right...and lots of spare pieces off to the side awaiting their turn. Since the new items should be in by the end of next week, I'll have some spontaneous, flash sales in the meantime to help make space. (Hmmm, I did say I have enough space, but making a little extra wouldn't hurt.) Anyway, drop in this week, and you're certain to get a good deal.
