Updated Marc...h 30,2017.
I now own around 11 pieces of Victoria 's pendants along with a few pendulums and other goodies. Love her shop, and her work,,and love her as a person and a friend. Check out her shop. It is well worth a visit.
Al...l in all... This little shop will see many more visits from us.
So many new things coming in, Tuesday, and I'll be in all week, and in the coming weeks, to assist with your questions about the herbs and crystals and whatever else you need. I've missed Moontide and my lovely customers so much during my time away and am looking forward to being back. I'm especially excited to be bringing in so many new crystals and minerals...tumbled, cabachons, raw speciminens, in such a wide variety...these are on top of what I snuck in a couple of weeks ago...and I have more coming still.
My time away from the shop was spent wisely...making plans, plans on how to make that small space bigger. How do you make a small shop larger without moving the walls? Magic! Oh, and I can work some magic! Believe me, if you think the shop is full now, as they say, you ain't seen nuthin' yet, baby!
Who loves labradorite...or a better question, who DOESN'T love labradorite!?! Well, I'm bringing many dozens of new, beautifully cut and polished pieces on Tuesday that you can choose from, either to have, as is, or made into pendants. Lots of different shapes...pear, oval, round, abstract, etc...so much flash and beauty. Custom pendants start at $25 and are available next day. So sorry I can't do them same day, but the polishing process takes several hours and is too stinky to do at the shop.
The majority of the new crystals and minerals have been displayed, along with lots of other new items, so I hope you'll drop in and see the new offerings...and perhaps adopt a few new pet rocks. (Anyone remember "The Pet Rock?"...1.5 million were sold in 1975.) Anyhoo...you should notice quite a few lower prices, as I managed to get some great deals from this year's Tuscon Gem Show, and I do like to pass on my savings. I'm very pleased with the new offerings, some fabulous quality rocks for all you hounds. Woof Woof! There's more, yet to come, but what I've put out so far has made a huge impact. Most of the tumbled stone bowls are, literally, overflowing!
Just to be clear... Moontide is open Tuesday through Friday, Noon until six (unless it's super cold or snowing hard or terribly icy...if in doubt, please call, 767-2950) and on Saturday, Noon until five. I've suddenly started getting a lot of messages asking if the shop is closed during January. No, we're absolutely open...even if you don't see our sidewalk sign out. Some days it's too windy to put out or we might be worried about the sidewalk snow plow so not put it out...but please come in.
A big thank you to those that have recently braved the cold, snow or wet weather to visit Moontide Arts, the shop, and also a thank you to those that have joined our Facebook page. Victoria will be back in the shop the first week of February, so Maureen will continue to run things until then, Tuesdays through Fridays, Noon until Six and on Saturdays, Noon until Five. Please do continue to visit the shop. Every little bit of business is so very valuable to us and so appreciated. Thank you.
It would be super helpful if you could use cash instead of credit or debit while my mom is looking after the shop over the next six weeks or so. While she can accept cards, it's not something she's used to, and the system can be a bit tricky. Rather than have her struggle, and even I struggle with it at times, it would be very much appreciated if you used cash. If you don't happen to have cash, the card system is still available... Just figured I'd ask, just in case anyone wouldn't mind this little favor. Thank you.
