Just bought these at the NOLA airport. (2/12/17) They have mold grow⋯⋯ing on them!! Unfortunately I ate one before I realized the condition of this food. Please remove these from the shelves immediately so no one else consumes this contaminated food. 更多

Want to start this post with saying how I think your King Cakes are ⋯⋯the most delicious I have ever eaten. One of the reasons for that is because of their moistness and freshness. One of the reasons for that freshness is because of the plastic wrap. I was just informed by the clerk at the Lakeside store that you have stopped wrapping them because it messes up the frosting, which I have never experienced, and that there will no longer be beads or doubloons, which so adds to the experience when you are gifting them to other people. Just wanted to let you know that I am very distressed by this change and hope that you will reconsider this policy and go back to the way things used to be! 更多

My fiance and I took a trip to NOLA back in March and we have searched high and low from Colorado to Ohio since then to find literally any gelato that comes clo⋯⋯se to the heavenly stuff we enjoyed at Sucre. Nothing has been able to curb our craving, so much so that we are talking making a trip back just to fly some home to serve at our wedding reception. AMAZING service the people closing last night were all gems. Every single one of them was just extra kind, patient and some of the friendliest people I've ever ⋯⋯met. My friends and I even commented on how awesome it would be to work there because everyone was just so happy and welcoming. People came in 3 minutes to close and they were greeted with the same smiles and warmness you'd expect in the morning. The macaroons were so perfect and delicious. This will definitely be a place I stop every time I'm in New Orleans. 更多

Visited on 1/15/17 and everything looked deliciously beautiful. The gelato was perfect. The chocolate was sumptuous. The macaroons were to die for. This is probably one of the best sweet shops that I have ever set foot in. All of their products are made by THEM. Everything is fresh. Chocolates, pastries, Gelato. I tried them all! All of the staff was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

Very poor service. One of the employees actually walked away even though I was in line. He said is busier on the ice cream side so he thought it was ok to leave⋯⋯ me there and not serve me. He was fussing with the scale and was confused about how many pieces of bark to weigh. Gelato is pretty good and the chocolates are so overpriced. They need a good manager as some of their employees don't understand efficient service. 更多

They have plenty of allergy-friendly desserts, and a very understanding and accommodating staff who will happily help you find something to enjoy. For those of you with wheat and milk allergies, I highly recommend the macarons and coconut-basil sorbet!

I never had any of the products, they look nice and tasty. I just don't like the technique that is used to spread some of the ingredients on top of king cakes. ⋯⋯One particular cake the technique is done by blowing the powdered sugar on with their mouth. That is not sanitary or professional. 更多

Family in other states are asking when we will be sending King Cakes. The grandchildren associate Mardi Gras with a Baby Jesus King Cake that is mailed to their⋯⋯ homes in CT. We travel to NOLA a few times a month and normally stop in Sucre for desert, they all taste like a little bit of heaven. 更多

I looovveee this place but the service lately was horrible. I walked in and an employee looked at me with the "Can you hurry up" look. Then I told him what I wanted and he was rude about it when I was trying to figure out what flavor macarons I wanted.

I received my shipment today containing Mardi Gras Macarons and 2 King Cakes. Sadly, the box was delivered upside down, so the Macarons were nearly all smashed ⋯⋯and the icing on both King Cakes was stuck to plastic wrap instead of cake. After contacting Sucre, they sent me a new replacement shipment with all contents perfectly intact and delicious tasting! � 更多

The eclairs quite good but the mini doberge cakes my lust. Be prepared to spend big $$$ here, but the price is worth the sweetness and satisfaction of "sugar done right"! Staff helpful, but was not busy. Packaging adorable-perfect gifts.

Sucre is a great dessert shop, my daughter, granddaughter, and I all went to Sucre at 8:52 a.m. We had a hard time picking out from all the desserts, but we fin⋯⋯ally did pick it out or dessert. I ordered a 15 piece chocolate set from Sucre and was accidently sent the wrong set. I contacted the company and they were very gracious about righting the prob⋯⋯lem. Not only did they send out the correct order right away, but also included a set of free macarons with a handwritten apology. Great company and great customer service! Suggestions: Everything really was outstanding and we didn’t have a particular “favorite”, however the macaroons were THE BEST I have ever eaten
Pros: Gillato w⋯⋯as epic, truffles were really good and unique, had a lot of flavor options for both the macaroons and the truffles, attention to detail
Cons: Parking, the pastry they used for the eclair was just good

Thoughts: So my wife is definitely more of the desert person that me but this place is like a magical factory of the most delicious and creative deserts imaginable. Just as an example, they make something they call the “Ice Cream Po’ Boy”, it three scoops of ice cream sandwiched between two eclair pastries, and drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce.

Everything at this place was absolutely amazing, with one minor exception; the eclair pastry was just good. Honestly I don't think it would have stood out as much except that everything else was of such high quality. Ice cream, amazing; chocolate, smooth and delicious; pastries and cakes, practically perfect. As yet another example of their outstanding quality; I don't really like macaroons, they are often dry and too firm. These were unbelievably good, I didn't know a macaroon could taste this good. The "cookie" was firm but with a moist, slightly chewy consistency; and the filling was so mouthwatering. To top all of that off the flavors were very unique and each that I tried was wonderful.

I will say that the location on magazine street is definitely better than the one in the French quarter. Parking is better, they have outside seating, and the overall atmosphere is just a little less hectic and crazy.

Sucrè is one of the highlights of my culinary experiences in NOLA and I desperately wish I was able to come back. If you live in NOLA, or if you're driving through NOLA you absolutely MUST visit. 更多

Amazing customer service. Macarons are really the only really pricey thing. All the desserts are so ornate that they're worth it for the experience.
