Rude cashiers, every single time I've shopped here over the past (?) 20 years. Might be a management issue as they all seem to chat amongst themselves far more than I've ever noticed anywhere else - n...o idle chit-chat with those pesky customers. Yesterday, this person practically slapped my receipt and change onto my palm then abruptly stalked away. Personal problems I'd guess as my transaction was seemless. The "great produce" Valley Farm supposedly has can be had at Elias Supermarket - recently expanded & remoldeled. See More

Valley farm has been going down hill . The quality is not what it used to be. It's like Elias now. You have to use produce right away. Also, their bakery department is terrible. Everything looks good ...but it's all so dry and tasteless. Had a half of a chocolate cake that cost 8.00 and was so dry, definitely over baked Yesterday I thought I'd try another item and bought peach muffins with the latest sale date. Still over baked and dry. I do like their meats although last spring when I bought kielbasa it was so sweet. I think they put sugar in instead of salt in the recipe. So sad... it used to be so good for all products. See More

Great place to shop but, just got home and saw I was charged for higher quantities than I got. Ripped off... Check your receipt BEFORE leaving the store...

I went to Valley Farm Market to pick up my weekly veggies. As I was waiting in line to be serviced by the cashier; Cameron G, I noticed that the customer in front of me was having some difficulty. S...he was short of breathe and unsteady on her feet. The cashier was also keen to notice and was assisting her by reaching over the counter in an effort to help her process the order. I joined in to help too, as the order was a very large one (over $300). In my conversation with the customer, I noticed that she was wearing a pump. She explained that she had just come from her six hour chemo treatment. I insisted that she take the offer from the cashier to have someone assist her to her car. Another young man approached the counter. The cashier asked him if he could assist her, however; he did not respond. The cashier indicated that he would find someone else to help. The other young man simply walked away. I offered at this time to help her to her car.

I am aware that Valley Farm Market will assist people (especially seniors) to their cars. I was saddened that the customer I referred to above, was not able to receive this kind service today. Perhaps the young man had not clocked in and wasn't available for that reason. I do not know. However, Cameron G, was available to represent your establishment well. He was engaged with his customer and offered kindness, support, encouragement, and professionalism beyond his years. His excellent interpersonal skills did not go unnoticed by this customer. To this young man, I offer my sincere thanks and gratitude for a job well done, up and beyond the call of duty. To the young man who walked away, I offer a recommendation. Hang around Cameron G to observe and learn how an excellent job could be executed and learn from him.

Went to the Valley Farm Market tonight after work. Tried to check out with a cart full of groceries over $200.00. Their system declined every credit card I carry. All the customer service rep could... say was "Why don't you just get cash out of our MAC machine". Wasted 1-1/2 hours of my time and left with no groceries. My wife picked up a few things at Wegmans at about the same time and had no problem with the same card.

I'll be shopping at WEGMANS from now on! The Valley Farm will never see me shop there again.

Great place to buy your produce and meats. FYI if you are going to the meat dept go after 1pm the people behind the counter before that are lazy and very slow

Poor Customer Service - I went to valley farm last night and had the worst experience! I asked the cashier about the price of the english muffins and if the ones I had chosen would apply for the sale,... she stated that "they are all on sale." After leaving the store and reviewing the receipt I realized that the sale price was not on the receipt. When I returned to the customer service desk Dave, the manager, said "I should have known better and that he would take the money out of Christina's ( the cashiers) paycheck." This incident did not leave me feeling good about Valley Farm. I can't believe they treat their employees this way yet alone a long time customer who comes in once a week! See More

Top notch quality & great prices on fresh fruits & veggies! The only place I will get deli (I'll never buy prepackaged, over-processed lunch meat again). Also, hands down, THE only place to buy fresh ...seafood!

I shop at Emmaus Ave., & I would like it if you would include the hours for that store since hours are shorter there.

Produce is always the freshest.
Not the least expensive but the quality makes it well worth the the extra pennies.
