Ed rides on!
Alright peeps! Here's the super rough planned route for my final continent. It's certainly not set in stone, but I wanted to give you all a bit more ...of an idea of where I'll be going.
If you live en route and would like to cycle with me, offer me a place to stay (this would be much appreciated ), cheer me on by the side of the road etc. please let me know!
After leaving San Francisco I'll be riding along the coast, cutting off to Bakersfield and then onwards to Death Valley and Las Vegas. This first 1000miles to Vegas is honestly the only part I've really worked out. From Vegas it's pretty loose.
Oh and ignore the map on my website. I made it 3 years ago and is nothing like this revised route.
Cheers everyone and hopefully see a handful of you on Saturday! Ooh it's all getting very exciting now
We are fortunate to have our MTB instructor Mr Doggy to demonstrate how to do a proper drop. https://instagram.com/p/BaUQu38HWx9/
I haven't posted for a while. Thought I'd change that with this clip I shot yesterday. Now you know what it looks like when you duct tape a camera to the inside... of a unicycle rim. Funky ay?
I'm on a bit of a time crunch at the mo. Starting tomorrow I've got 28 days left on my Oz visa to reach Sydney and roughly 950miles to cover. Doable, but I need to keep moving and will unfortunately probably have to forfeit video editing during this time (maybe, we'll see ). I'm currently in a place called Kingston in South Australia and will hopefully reach the 'Great Ocean Road' in the next week. Melbourne in two.
2 months and 2000miles so far 'down under' and I'm starting to feel myself running out of steam. I'll definitely make it to Sydney on time, but with a few aches and pains already surfacing, this next 28 days is going to be tough.
