So, as some of you may know, one of the things that I deal with in life is depression. One of my coping mechanisms is my cats. But, they are currently living with Oma because my parents' dog kinda eats cats....and we are living with them.
Today I needed a kitty fix, so we headed to Ren's Pet Depot and found this lovely little lady. Her name is Precious, and that's exactly what she is. Having had seven kittens, watching as they all got adopted and then watching as her fellow ...felines at Ren's also found homes, she has been left behind.
:( Way to break my heart!!!
Now, while I cannot adopt her, I decided that she needed a pick-me-up. She didn't really take to any of the toys they had given her, so, as she didn't have one of those cardboard scratching boards, Zeb and I picked her up one of those. She seemed to enjoy it, and the catnip it came with.
<3 She was seriously purring so loud!! ^.^
If anyone in the Cambridge area is looking to adopt, please consider Miss Precious. She is such a beautiful, playful and loving lady!!!! I honestly think she would make such a perfect fur baby!!!
