SPS 2017 District Bond Issue Video
School Spirit! During a pep assembly at Marrs, the entire school sang our school song. Music Teacher, Robin Haynes, teaches every student the words to the song in her music class.
The district will be holding an election for a $7,995,000 bond that will be voted on August 28, 2012. The bond includes a new 23,000 square foot Second & Third Grade center. It also includes at every school site new secure entrances, new food service improvements, roofing repairs, HVAC improvements, flooring, grounds & landscaping improvements. In addition, gym floor repairs at the middle and high schools and new auditorium seating in the high school are included. It also provides $350,000 for technology upgrades district wide. A separate bond proposal for $300,000 for transportation will be held as well. TriArch Architecture is the architect for the capital improvements. Please vote on August 28, 2012! Thank you!
