Whoa, check out what a group of activists did last night at Twitter HQ in Dublin.
Ireland has long been a tax haven for tech haven, who use the country’s corporate-friendly kickbacks to save billions of dollars in taxes.
Now, this group is calling on Twitter’s Dublin employees to push its Terms of Service - in the name of their tax dollars.
..."Ireland has subsidised Twitter's corporate growth to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars via disreputable tax avoidance schemes. This tax money could have gone on healthcare, housing and kindness. Instead it has been used to platform the racist, incendiary and hateful views of Donald Trump.”
Pretty badass.
