To celebrate, I have uploaded a few snapshots from last year's shows. Don't they look like they're having a great time? Want to join in the fun? Ring 0161 749 8746.
Exciting news! We are pleased to announce the reintroduction of our composite class at Bramhall between 5pm and 6pm at the Bramhall United Reform Church on Robins Lane commencing on Friday 12 January 2018. To celebrate this fantastic news we have decided to show the Sale and Altrincham Parents Day spectacular video.
If you are interested then we are offering a free trial at the class for new students. Just message via the page or gives us a ring on 0161 749 8746.
To all parents in SMHOG Dramaland. Our classes start again tomorrow, Wednesday 3 January 2017 at our Gatley and Stretford classes. On Friday, we then have our Bramhall and Altrincham classes. Then from Monday all classes return on their appropriate nights. To celebrate, we have decided upon a superb dramatic pose by Urmston Composite.
There are some classes which may become full if you haven't re-enrolled. In addition, if you are a new parent, then you can avail yourself of a free trial to see if our classes are suitable for your child/children. Give us a call on 0161 749 8746 or message through the facebook page.
Do you want to be jumping for joy this Christmas?
Make sure you don't miss out on your drama by securing your very own early bird offer which finishes this week. Check your re-enrolment forms for details and save yourself a bit of Christmas cash.
In celebration of some fantastic Parent Day activities we have put together some snippets of parents and students at two of our studios working together. Can you see the parents being vegetables and growing in confidence just like like their student children? We love the fact that our parents feel good enough to be so involved that we have decided to extend the Early Bird Offer for another couple of weeks so get your enrolment in. Ring the office for details or check the forms given to the children at their class. Hope to see you next year.
Hi. This week is parents' week at some classes in the SMHOG area. Feel free to join in the fun with your children if you wish. Every year, we support the Children in Need Charity collection and will have collections boxes available at classes if you wish to also make a contribution. This worthy cause helps disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
A short video of our composite drama classes performing improvisation drama. Every single one of our students is focused and engaged in our curriculum based drama activities. Their interpretation of the subject matter is incredible and varied.
Ooooeeer! I hear that a nasty witch is currently making her way to Cheadle Hulme as we speak. Flying in on her Dyson which, as we all know, has replaced the broom.
Further updates to follow.
Our drama classes start back tonight on this Halloween eve. Don’t forget to dress as a witch, goblin or demon and we might add some special effect ghosts and slime to your photo.
The lucky halloween classes are Cheadle Hulme and Sale tonight and Chorlton and Urmston tomorrow. I expect to be scared half to death.
A bit like these from last year below.
A message to our students at Cheadle Hulme and Urmston. Halloween falls on Tuesday this year so you are all in a position to come to your class dressed as a ghoul, ghost or goblin. We even like having the odd zombie attending if you fancy it. To show that we are also excited about halloween we have got Livviey to make herself up as a roaming zombie.
We think she looks rather good!
Here’s a snippet of a recent and typical youth improvisation class. If only you could hear the creativity, comedy and pathos in these individual pieces.
Oh wait....., you can!
Enrol now and have your first lesson as a free trial.
Ooooeer! It appears that our telephone line (0161 749 8746) has gone down at SMHOG. We are still available on our mobile number (07595 188484) at this time. We have contacted our telephone company and await the resolution of this problem. As a consolation, we want to show you a cinemagraph of one of our Youth students performing at our end of year extravaganza show in July 2017. Hope you like it!
***UPDATE*** The telephone line is now fixed. Phew! Give us a call to book a free trial for new students.
Pictures of some of the Bramhall Youth class last night together with their teacher, Ellen, undertaking ad libs and improvisation involving a suitcase. The creativity and comedy of the various routines were excellent and the acting ability of the performers was apparent. You could not fail to spot just how confident and talented this lot were.
