The Smiling DoulaPregnancy Care Center in Louisa, Virginia
I want to say thank you to all of the wonderful families who have allowed me to be part of their families over the years. Due to a physical disability, I will no longer be providing doula services. I will in the future still offer the belly binding, however, it would be some time from now. I have enjoyed every minute of helping you wonderfully strong women bring your precious babies Earth Side. Thank you so much.

Question of the day (and, warning, we're getting kind of personal here): For any of Goochland's wonderful moms, did you employ the services of a doula or midwif...e when you were expecting? The Gazette is working on a story and would love to hear why you did and what your experience was like. You can either post here or e-mail editor Roslyn Ryan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Signs of RSV!
The hospital is filling up with babies who have RSV, they even had the CDC there to get information to help prevent future cases.
I just wanted to share these ...signs with you guys. We were blessed to realize what was happening early, before it got really bad.
You want to look for wheezing, pale skin, lacing skin, lips blue or pale, sucking in under ribs, nostrils flaring, throat sinking in, shoulders moving up and down and head bobbing. 💙 hope this helps someone

"All in all, congratulations to ACOG for making it even clearer that the U.S. obstetricians professional organization understands that all home births are not alike and should not be dumped into one basket. However, the job isn’t done. For one thing, ACOG members have to walk the walk, and for another, the recognition that factors within obstetrician control increase safety, namely, working with home birth practitioners to integrate care and offering planned vaginal birth to all women desiring it so they aren’t forced out of the hospital, creates an obligation to provide those elements of care.“
Congratulations to GloZell on the birth of her daughter and thank you for sharing your infertility and surrogacy journey!
More midwives are appearing in local hospitals, you can now have a midwife at MCV, UVA, St. Francis and Henrico Doctors Forest. The midwives at UVA also do well woman care!
I love Tess and her self confidence!
My partner Nick captured this photo of me getting ready yesterday to shoot the next instalment of my #mblmxtess Penningtons collection, and it reminded me of Gi...selle Bundchen iconic photo breastfeeding on set. Working moms come in all shapes, sizes, colors & creeds! #normalizebreastfeeding #workingmom
This is pretty funny. Did you leave any odd instructions the first time you left your baby with someone?
