I’ve been asked to facilitate a discussion for the Joy of Jazz on Friday morning at Gold Reef City and there are a couple of seats available f...or people interested in festivals, cultural policy, strategy and research.
The Key Question is:
What impact do festivals like Standard Bank Joy of Jazz have on the economy, social cohesion and cultural exchange of a City, Province and Country? #SBJOJ
If any of my FB friends are interested or feel there’s a cultural thinker, arts activist, policymaker or a key individual who could bring something to this conversation, please contact Dudu Dlamini – projects@Tmusicman.co.za or on 011 326 0141
The SA Cultural Observatory will also be presenting its Event Impact Calculator to kick off the discussion, with a panel engaging their calculator of Avril Joffe, Annabell Lebethe and Unathi Luthshaba - Research Manager: #SACO
