Just got home from our first stay in Greer, AZ. The town is the cutest town ever and had absolutely ...beautiful scenery. We found out about this place by chance but we couldn’t have been more thrilled with our stay. It was our one year anniversary and we wanted to bring our horses and ride and this place allowed us to do that! Our horses love their amenities and we’re happy girls. My husband and I were in heaven in the large cabin. So cozy and cute. I was also amazed at how clean everything was. Not a single thing was dirty or out of place. The bed was very comfy and the claw foot bathtub was to die for. Also, the customer care was top notch! We have only wonderful things to say about this place! Can’t wait for our next stay! This house and property is amazing! From the entrance gate at the driveway to the most comfortable b...eds...you truly feel like you are on vacation in the great outdoors. Even with two other rentals on the property there was plenty of privacy between the units. The main cabin and lower cabin are separated by a staircase and each have their own beautiful views of the scenery and own private kitchen and accommodations. During our stay we saw wild turkey, elk and rams which was so fun for our little girls! It is a beautiful log cabin from top to bottom with beautiful details from the log bed posts and southwestern decor throughout. Everything you need is provided...nice towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, plenty of plates, bowls, cooking utensils, pots, pans, extra blankets...even the general seasonings are provided. There are enough games and toys for the whole family (we played cards and Yahtzee and our little girls played with princess doll houses all provided on property!). We stayed Friday and Saturday night in early February and there was plenty of snow to play in so we bought a sled locally and were able to sled in the front yard which our kids absolutely loved and these will be memories that will last forever! The mud room got a lot of use with our boots and coats and jackets and the house was always at the right temperature...I don’t think we adjusted the thermostat at all. We can’t wait to come back and are already planning a trip in the Spring and Summer! Mehr anzeigen
While I am generally not one to leave reviews, Snover had 3 good opportunities during my trip to eit...her impress or disappoint and on all three accounts they impressed.
First, upon arriving we decided we wanted to upgrade to the larger lodge. (Nothing was wrong with the 'Guest Quarters, we just peaked into the main lodge and got envious of the larger accomodations). They quickly and seamlessly made the switch for us, never making it feel like an inconvenience or hassle (even though I know there were multiple calls and moving parts required). Second, sometime during our first night the heat went out. I am not one to get upset at things like this, they are unavoidable, we just happened to draw the short straw. How they handled it though is how I was measuring them and they did great. Within an hour of me letting Mary know, someone was at the house working on it and while it was not a quick or simple fix, we were communicated with throughout and Mary even offered to pay for our lunch at a local restaurant (that was delicious) to get us out of the house. There was firewood available to us which helped us keep the house warm, and while we were at lunch someone came and dropped off some portable electric heaters. All in all it was handled much better than I would have known how to handle it. Lastly, on our last scheduled night the weather reported a severe winter storm. Mary proactively offered to refund us for the night and allow us to leave a night early. While we wrestled with the decision and truly wanted to stay at this beautiful cabin, we ultimately decided to leave early for the safety of our family. Based on our drive home (pre-storm) I am so grateful we did. Even with the moderate snow the roads became a hazard and it was hard to see. I am glad I dont havd to find out what it would have been like driving in the storm. I guess in summary, beyond being a beautiful spacious cabin (which you can mostly see through pictures), the management (my main interaction was with Mary) is excellent and incredibly helpful. Great job! We will certainly be back. Mehr anzeigen

East Fork Trail! Super green with all this rain! We're so lucky to have this secluded trail less than 100 yards from our property! Perfect for dogs and horses!
