Bertrand, André, Congratulations!
You have done it again! Humanity has a real chance to thrive if we join forces and use energy efficiently! Maybe not only the... energy for our machines but the energy for ourselves. We naturally tend to be so egoistic and waste so much energy in the wrong way so that we don't get enough for ourselves nor allow anyone else get it for themselves in the process. In Spanish, we have a saying. "Eres como el perro del hortelano, no comes ni dejas comer". Thank you for sharing your dreams! Each time you climbed at dawn to pick up more sun to charge your batteries I couldn't help but think for a minute about Icarus trying to get closer to the sun enjoying his wings. At the same time I was wishing your fragile-looking plane didn't melt. Well. It did not! My brother is a baloon pilot so maybe that's where I get these thoughts. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

Solar Impulse's return to Switzerland!

Four months after completing the first ever Round-The-World Solar Flight, Solar Impulse 2 will be shipped to Switzerland tomorrow. The team and some close partners and friends of the project will be present to welcome Si2 in Dübendorf, the place where it was built.
