SOUTHBANK OFFICIALLY NOW SAVED!!
A joint statement has come out today between fellow campaigners LLSB and the Southbank Centre which secures the undercroft remains as a public space for skateboarders, BMXers, graffiti arts and more.
The Southbank Centre have also formalised the agreement with Lambeth Council to keep the undercroft open to the public and that their Festival Wing project will no longer threaten it....
Please spread the word!!
Official campaign merchandise for supporters to help spread awareness on our cause to save the iconic Southbank skatepark in London.
All proceeds go towards funding the running of our campaign.
The Southbank Centre have announced that the Arts Council have given them a £16.7million grant to carry out some of their refurbishment works.......which is good news for the skatepark too as it takes off a little bit more pressure for it to be replaced with retail units to generate income for them.
They are also stating that they "will be making every effort with skateboard groups to resolve their future in the Queen Elizabeth Hall undercroft"....
Come down to Southbank this Sunday where all the defenders of the undercroft will be uniting at this event
