Some dining experiences are hard to describe, this was one of them. From the moment we actually found the place down a back lane no with no signage it felt like we were going to an elegal speakeasy!... I knew this was going to be special! The surroundings we're like we were in a hide out for the mob candles and Stone and eclectic antique mismatched tables and chairs. The food was amazing, unique and beautifully prepared. Duck that was melt in your mouth and lobster and scallops like I have never tasted. And we even got a free desert because the server thought we were waiting a bit long. The desert was an incredible a French cheese hazelnut combination with a port that was just the perfect finish. The server said they have never advertised and I know why they haven't had to! Only word of mouth and I get it, this place is hard to find, but worth the search! If I could give more stars I would!! See More

I’ve been twice and loved everything about it - the food, knowledgeable servers, ambience, and the original cocktails. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing atmosphere, great food. There was a bit of confusion when we tried ordering a bottle of wine. Otherwise the place was great and I will for sure be going back!

this place is phenomenal. i keep wishing it was out here in Los Angeles. it reminds me of underground restaurants in Prague.

Made a reservation at Sous Sol Osborne yesterday and was absolutely delighted by the wonderful atmosphere and experience. The food was exquisitely presented and prefectly seasoned. I love restaurants ...that change their menu's monthly, it makes one come back to see the new menu.

The only draw back I found was the server wasn't as friendly with my dinner party as he was the other tables around us.

This place is out of this world good! Food and drink are an experience as well as delicious. Eating at sous sol is a culinary adventure. It's ever evolving menu keeps every visit unique. Eat from ...miss match china well sipping a drink out of ornate tea cup, well at your beautiful old world table. Eric always makes us feel extra special and is the perfect host. Seriously can't say enough. Just go, you won't regret it. See More

Atmosphere is cozy, inviting and unique. Service is lovely and casual. Food is classic and top-notch. Really enjoyed the cocktail menu as well. Can't wait to return!

Came here on a whim for Winnipeg Winterlicious and while it was hard to find, it was totally worth it!!! Best escargot I've ever had, with creamy sauce and peas and crispy bits.... foie gras amazing it always is... OSTRICH tartar, not just novel but delicious and nutritious... duck confit and short ribs... dessert was great too. Wonderful service and awesome atmosphere. Do yourself a favour and go with a group of four or more, so you can try some of EVERYTHING! It actually became pointless to mention the things that we liked in particular, because every dish was than the last. Ok, I have to mention one thing: if they have frog legs, DO IT!

Our waitress was really great too, really personable, brought the whole evening together perfectly.

'Last Night, Pre-Flight" - Dry-Hopped Gibson's 12 Year, Drambuie, a Bottle of Underberg, Grapefruit. This 'Paper Plane' adaptation is a throwback to the days past before we could get our hands on all of the interesting and uniques spirits we see in our market today.
