Can't say enough about this show, particularly since yours truly is the host! Weekly at www.radioamplifire.com,

What a long, strange trip it's been! Here's something to make some of you rockers feel old -- this year, Sparkling Apple is celebrating its 45th Anniversary. The drummer and the guitarist (Captain Maniac and Art the Fart the Heavy Metal Kid) have been the same all these years, so those of you who joined us at our New Year's Eve 2014 gig at Donegal's will have also attended our 45th Anniversary. Yes, it is true: we started in 1969, and through the magic & wonders of medications and wheelchair access to the stage, we continue to rock well into the 21st Century -- and not in rockin' chairs! Have a drink on me!

Joining us on New Year's Eve at Donegal's is North Vancouver's own "House Party", proving once and for all that the house will definitely be rockin'! As we mentioned yesterday, advance tix are all gone, but there are still some tix for sale at the bar at Donegal's Irish House, 12054-96th Ave, Surrey BC.
Here is a preview of some tunes we have been working on for the upcoming NEW YEARS EVE gig at Donegal's.
The next 10 tickets purchased get a free House Party CD.

Another successful rehearsal! (Jeez, in the old days, it used to be called "band practice", but nowadays that conjures up visions of trumpets, tubas and glockenspiels!).
