Embrace Ministry is hosting a Marriage Workshop in the DC/MD/VA area to help foster strong marriages and encourage those in relationships (Singles and engaged welcome!) to learn more about how to build a biblical foundation and grow in intimacy.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
In the first marriage, Adam and Eve “were both naked, and they felt no shame.” (Genesis 2:25)...
Being naked was not merely about the absence of clothing. Rather it pointed to the depth of emotional intimacy Adam and Eve shared with each other and God. In their “nakedness,” they experienced no shame. There was freedom from all fears, acceptance, safety, trust, joy and delight – qualities many couples desire but few enjoy.
This workshop is grounded in the biblical foundation for marriage as the framework for growing intimacy. Furthermore, speakers Alice Kim, LCSW and Pastor Sam Kim will apply practical principles and implications to your current relationship. Session topics will include Unveiling the Mystery of Marriage, Putting Shame in Its Place, Foundations of Healthy Sexuality, and Building a Culture of Nakedness and Grace.
Noon Lunch (Not provided)
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS APRIL 1ST

Hello SPC Embrace Ministry!
The weather has finally turned a little cooler. You know what that means? It's time to venture out and check out the fall foliage!
Our SPC EM will be having a joint hiking trip with our YG on Saturday, Oct. 25 at White Oak Canyon in Shenandoah, VA. The hike isn't too difficult and has really nice waterfall views apparently. Check out the link and tentative schedule below!...
7:30am - Meet at SPC to carpool
9:30am - Arrive at White Oak Canyon and begin hike
12:00pm - Stop for lunch and then head back down
2:00pm - Drive back to SPC
4:00pm - Arrive at SPC
It should be a great time of fellowship and bonding with our EM and YG members. And if you're doing Big/Little Brother/Sister, we really encourage you to use this opportunity to get to know your mentor/mentee (make sure they're going first of course)!
Hope to see many of you there! And post any questions or comments below!
