The new management at Spectrum is wonderful. They are so easy to work with and very accommodating. The entire move-in process was a breeze. The building itself well structured and since it was built before the boom, it doesn't have the "thrown up as quickly as possible" flaws that other apartments in the area have. However, it still has the look and feel of a new apartment. South end is a great place to be and I'm so glad I moved into this complex. See More

If you prefer to live in a place that does not stand by their 'quiet time' hours and disregards calls to the security officer, this is the place for you! The ma...nagement before had its issues but always respected late night noise and had dedicated security. Advertising a courtesy officer is a should feel comfortable calling the police instead if you also want to call this place your home. See More

If you're looking for an affordable apartment in the midst of South End this is the place for you. It's only a 15 minute walk to the Southend Bars, a 10 minute ride to OMB & LoSo, 5 minute Uber ride to uptown and we're right next to Sycamore Brewing so you never have to worry about finding parking. What more can you ask for? There are two pools, one hot tub, one grilling area and two huge dog parks for your fur babies! We're also one of the only apartments in Southend with a parking deck so parking is never a problem especially with all the Southend events going on! I'm so glad we chose Spectrum as our home. As a resident of the Spectrum South End since the summer of 2012 I can say that it's been a very pleasant experience overall .. the dog park has been the highli...ght for me .. a great way to meet your neighbors & enjoy the surroundings .. the front office associates have been nothing but eager to accommodate my needs as a tenant here & I fully appreciate their professionalism .. call this guy a happy tenant .. I really like calling this place home. See More

I moved to Charlotte from California back in August 2016 for Law School. I was completely new to the area and had no idea what location of the city I wanted to... live in. After seeing other complexes, last on my list was Spectrum South End. From the moment I entered to the moment I left, the staff at Spectrum was nothing short of incredible. After a series of unforeseeable events, I had to cut my time in Charlotte short. During an already stressful time, the staff worked with me to make my move less stressful. Samantha was awesome through my entire stay at spectrum, along with the other ladies who helped me. I never had issues with my apartment, and the amenities to the complex were a plus. My apartment was clean, well lit, and like new upon move-in. I didn't have a dog, but the apartment is very animal friendly and even has a dog park located within. Living alone in a new state was a bit scary, but I never felt unsafe in my apartment. If you are looking to relocate to a new apartment, I would strongly recommend Spectrum South End. Going into the city is about a 10 minute commute via lynx rail, and it is conveniently located next to a number of local restaurants, shops, and bars. See More

They have been making a lot of good changes ever since the team was taken over by Nicole. Kind of prison like in the hallways but the rooms are good.

Check it out.

I want to highlight the excellent work that Samantha Gibbs does for the tenants at Spectrum. She is always so friendly and goes way above and beyond to help in ...any way that she can. Because of her, the fantastic location, and the great offerings I would like to give spectrum a good review. See More

From the moment I applied to live here it was a constant nightmare. It took two months to actually be approved to live there even though I met all the requireme...nts. Thank god I applied 3 months prior to my move date. Once I moved in, there was constant trash and dog hair in the hallways. For four months the gate to the building was broken allowing any riff raff and random people into the building. Spa pool was always broken. Gym equipment was old and broken half the time. 2 months into my 10 month lease the printer ran out of ink and on move out day they still hadn't replaced it. The front desk staff is completely incompetent. Constantly messing up billing, answering questions wrong and requiring multiple follow ups for the simplest things. Jennifer is the only saving grace to that place. On move out they tried to charge me 500 dollars for replacing a carpet in the bedroom which I lived in for 10 months. Once called out on it they actually charged me a reasonable prorated price. It's located near sycamore brewing so expect to not be able to find parking in your own garage and have fun fighting all the drunk people and ubers on your way home even if it is 5pm. I'm not a picky tenant but I can honestly say this was the worst place I've ever lived. Don't even waste your time with it. See More

Community computers are always on the frits, printers have never worked but they will not replace them, pools ard common areas are never clean, hallways always smell like wet dog. I DO NOT recommend living here!!!

My boyfriend and I moved in about 8-9 months ago. We moved into this apartment because it was supposed to be the only pet-friendly place in charlotte. well........THEY ARE NOT PET-FRIENDLY. Yes, you can have pets but most of the residents bitch about the animals or you get emails every day complaining about them. I had knee surgery right before moving in and the office knew that. they did nothing but make the move difficult as well. our keys were not ready at the time of move in and we had to wait for someone to come let us in after about an hour or so. The apartment never sends out advanced notice into walking into your apartment. They never tell you if they will be in your place. If the power goes out you could be screwed and you'll never hear anything from them. The parking garage gets robbed it seems like every week and instead of protecting its residents they get a new office. It is most ridiculous. I would NOT recommend moving here. The dog owners rock and the park is nice when they take care of it but other than that really not worth it. We can't wait to move to say the least. See More
