The SDP Rally has ended. Two balloon balls were released to the crowd where it was pushed around by supporters.

Dr Chee Soon Juan takes his turn at the May 1 rally by starting his speech in Mandarin. He asks the media to put up a nicer photo of him because Mr Murali's (PAP candidate) photo showed him smiling while he said his photo showed him with a black face. He also said he's disappointed with the outcome of the Lianhe Wanbao interview. He tells the media that you don't have to support SDP but be fair in reports. He said to talk about policies and compare both parties' initiatives would be better than talking about each other's characters.

Dr Chee Soon Juan at SDP rally on Sunday night. He addresses PAP Grace Fu's remarks that he does not hold a full-time job. Dr Chee said he could have left to continue his profession as a neuropsychologist, but he chose to stay to do political work in Singapore.
"I ask Ms Grace Fu not to denigrate people who don't lead the kind of rich lifestyle that she does. Maybe, just maybe, we like better it this way. We may not be as rich, but we may just be as happy, if not happier."

As much as they find it rewarding, many admit that the task of #caregiving has been challenging as they juggle the demands of work and the responsibilities that elder care entails.
