When Alejandro Franco proposed to me, he originally gave me a beautiful diamond ring from another store. They switched the ring/diamond after the first inspecti...on and treated me like I was crazy. We ended up returning the ring and having to search for a new one. I was devastated! We happened upon Spicer Greene Jewelers, they were the warmest and most helpful store we had come across. We ended up working with one of the owners Elliott Gary Spicer, he did everything he could to give us exactly what we wanted. Willing to work in our price range and with the stone I choose, since I was traumatized from every having another diamond ring! Every time Alex and I go in the store, the whole staff is just as amazing, helpful and respectful. They are what a business should strive to be! How anyone can accuse them of promoting violence is un-fathomable! I stand behind them 100%!!! Ver más

Recently, my wife and I had the occasion to visit Spicer-Greene Jewelers while shopping for a distinctive gift for her. Upon entering their business, I was imm...ediately impressed with how Eva-Michelle, the daughter of longtime owners, Mike and Eva Greene, and her husband, Elliott, had completely renovated the interior with the mindset of connecting with a wider audience. This wonderfully vibrant young couple has brilliantly bridged the gap between the family’s long history in Asheville (opened in 1926!) and today while keeping an eye on the future. A commitment to customer service, supported by a fresh, inviting décor and witty marketing are hallmarks of the newest incarnation of this business. I am so happy to watch these two continue the tradition of a well-respected family business while maintaining their independence from corporate interests. I took my grandmothers diamond wedding band in it to be cleaned and Eva Michelle noticed one of the diamonds was loose. They ended up re-pronging the ring and s...aid I will have at least another 50 years use out of it. I'm so thankful that she caught the loose diamond before I lost it. I would've been devastated. The ring looks amazing! I appreciate there attention to detail even if they are just cleaning your ring for you. Ver más

I've known the owners at Spicer Greene for several years and can't think of a nicer pair of people than Elliot and Eva Michelle.

I highly recommend that anyon...e who is interested in jewelry stop in to meet them and get to know them personally. They're lovely folks and they have a great store. Ver más

As a woman, I am deeply offended by the suggestion that it is sometimes ok to throw anything at a girl. As a marketing professional, I know how challenging it c...an be to create catchy campaigns, but I also know the importance of righting a wrong.

The apology offered clearly is not sincere & suddenly this page has become a safe space for bullies to accuse people of being snowflakes. Domestic violence is not a joke, nor is the history of stoning women. Ver más

I live in New Mexico, and if I ever get a guy to buy me jewelry, I will make sure he buys it from you. Don't let the PC police get you down. They are so angry... because they have no joy in their lives, probably because of their joyous personalities. Women who are secure have no problem with your billboard. Get a life, haters. Use some of that energy to make some sandwiches and take them to the homeless. Ver más

This is an awesome store, with awesome products, they have an awesome attitude and location. They do awesome repairs and especially awesome custom work. Their s...taff are awesome and the way they have treated their customers for the last hmmmmmmm 80 or so years seems to have also been very awesome. The young couple running it now are awesome and are trying to develop their own awesome future. Some of you feel that their billboard is not so awesome, but perhaps you could accept their apology and be awesome yourself. Life is really too short and the future is no place to put your bad days. I too have never been to the Spicer Greene Jewelers but feel very strongly that these people who insist that this cute billboard be taken down, are Absolutely A...bsurd!!!
For anyone to look at that billboard & come up with promoting violence in any way is just ridiculous!!! It's a play on rules that we teach our children & nothing more!!!
I think they should Not allow these people to Bully them!!
Leave the billboard up for everyone to see it for what it really means!! Love & Cherish the women in your life!!! ���� Ver más

Soooo what does President Trump, with swastikas, nuclear bomb mushroom clouds, and a Russian lapel pin, have in common with diamonds? Ohhh...you must have trie...d to make an ultra-liberal, mindless, tasteless, elitist, smug joke! Haha...I get it! You might have thought this kind of shock advertising would be brilliant and successful, but you're wrong. Just from that billboard alone, I would NEVER shop at your store. Seems as if you're all worried about what people are saying about your slogan on a poster board, maybe you should take in to affect that it's a copy written slo...gan from another jewelry story and may face charges, I'm thinking maybe you should have done research into this matter and if I am wrong shame on me, But I will bring this to your attention and fast. My family has been in the Jewelry business in Bloomington, Illinois for many years and I have heard what a wonderful store this is. Have a granddaughter going to High Point University next year and hope to come visit Spicer Greene.

Spicer Greene Jewelers is part of both Continental Buying Group and Preferred Jewelers International. Elliott and Eva Michelle are held in high regard in both organizations. They also did a fabulous job in the stores remodeling.
