I have compiled 45 seconds of some of my photos from the past year: Chalk-painted furniture, centerpieces, dining settings and decor arrangements. It has been fulfilling to look at an empty space or a piece of old furniture and ask, “How can I bring this back to life?” or “What is the purpose of this space, and what story should it tell?” When you walk into a home or a room, does it make you feel something?
These are places where I hope to create just that - a cozy, light, and airy feeling. A feeling that says you’re home.
Choosing pieces for my own bedroom wall has been a challenge. I tend to always have this fear that I will create something too busy, when I believe you should be surrounded by things that make you feel something. And in my case, I want to feel calm and inspired. I’ve fallen in love with these metal wall pieces, and there’s something about them that makes me feel like I’ve gone back in time. 🌿
