Michael G. Salley Community Park

Mr. Michael G. Salley is the founder of Edisto Habitat for Humanity and has personally worked on each and every one of the eighty homes built in Orangeburg since 1991. This wonderful organization is on a mission. They need YOUR help though!

Edisto Habitat for Humanity has built a neighborhood of homes on Kings Road. They have received a $75,000 grant from the Central Carolina Community Foundation to build the Michael G. Salley Community Park for that neighborhood. “Smiles, Laughter, Community, Happiness” are some of the reasons for the park. They need to raise a 30% match in funds and in-kind donations by June 30th in order to receive the grant proceeds.

You can help them reach this goal in three ways:

1. Come out for our Missions Dinner on Sunday, May 6. All the proceeds will go to the Edisto Habitat for Humanity in support of this project and to build new homes.

2. Support Edisto Habitat for Humanity on the Midlands Give 24-Hour Local Online Giving Challenge hosted by Central Carolina Community Foundation on May 1, 2018. For more information on this program, please visit www.midlandsgives.org.

3. PRAY! Prayer is a powerful thing, so if you cannot give monetarily, then pray for Edisto Habitat for Humanity and their mission!
