Hi Grover! It was so great meeting you last night! I realize as you ...were leaving the studio I BRIEFLY mentioned a fundraiser Hospice of Amador and Calaveras does called "Calaveras Live!" I spoke to my boss and told him about you and your fantastic talent and he asked me to ask YOU if you would be willing/available to perform in our show? The show will take place in Murphy's Creek Theatre on Saturday, October 25th from 6-9pm. There would be one very short rehearsal on the Thursday or Friday before - and that's it! Please think about it and let me know... Our hospice is a local, non-profit and we never charge the patients or their families for services. :) Thanks again for coming on the show last night! You may have heard that someone from Calaveras County was on TV this weekend. That's right, I was a guest on Tammy's Window on Calaveras - What's She Up to Now? Oh, and I guess I should congratulate the other guy who was on tv, TJ Dillashaw..., for winning the main event at UFC 173 to become the Bantamweight Champion of the World! Wishing all the love and strength I can offer to UCSB/IV students, families, and fellow alumni. I'm still trying to process how such an event could occur in a place that still feels like home. I'm a little lost today.
Took a little trip down south to record an episode of Front of House Podcast today with Mike Dawson (voice of The Adam Carolla Show and fellow Gaucho!) I'll let you know when it goes up. In the meantime, there's sure to be some great live music around you this weekend…please support it!

Mark Twain wrote a story about the place I grew up in, and we jump frogs, show livestock, ride carnival rides, competitively demolish cars, and drink beer to commemorate it. The band & I will be providing 3 hours of music to accompany said beer drinking tonight at 9, but first, a little background:
