    Hola peeps..time cruises along nicely and there is much to be happy about. And sad about if you read the news. Kit has been spending time flexing his skills learning obscure covers...quite tasty I must say! Brian continues to thunderousl...y tickle the bass in Monkeybat. Paul lives life as it should be and we can't wait to hear him play some damn drums. mmm mmmm. hitting stuff with sound is good.

    Ben has started a very new band that doesn't even really know what it is yet but they know they like it. Typical. It is just a little baby infant at this point...Bunny Kisses. Tiny little baby growing knives for fingers and having an unhealthy obsession with Maurice Ravel. This obsession with the lilting, dissonant tenderously beautiful sounds of Ravel have led them to tear up roots and leave the Pacific Northwest in favor of Central and South America.        have I shown you this before? Backstory: Seattle band Step Daddy asked me to shoot some images for their album LOVE. We decided on a concept of trailer-trash sugar-daddy being used by some cunning, fun-lovin ladies. (Ok, maybe the concept was looser than that, but that's what this image says to me.) What do ya think?

    Hey everyone! Step Daddy is taking a break for a while. Not sure when we will be back. Brian is working on an album with Monkey Bat, Kit is sailing around Ballard, Paul is working with the circus of Industry and Ben is playing some shows with some experimental stuff around town that changes names more often than diapers. We will let you know soon what is going on!

    My friend The RainDoggs just inspired this thought: If face-to-face live camera is possible, how about a device that, not only projects your holo-graphic image, but also is able to constitute a replica of your body with materials that are similar to human skin. What if then you were able to attach sophisticated sensors to the replica which could then be fed to your sensory inputs in the the brain? Go ahead, feel free to run with this.

    I want to thank all of the venues that have been contacting me for Step Daddy shows! Thank you very much! However, since the loss of our guitar player to the fame of the Filipino arm wrestling circuit, we just haven't been the same. Coupled that with much personal stress and it means that we are taking a little extra time to get our music back on track. We will be releasing new songs this week and in the coming months. Step Daddy is most definitely ALIVE but we need some time to get our heads straight and reorganize. Thank you everyone!!!
