My son and I visited a few weeks ago and just found out he's been accepted! Praying we can pull it together and work it all out. So excited - the campus felt like home away from home. I'm hoping the...y won't mind if I move in too. haha! See More

I have interviewed many Universities to complete my degree work. The admissions staff and councilors have been easy to reach with great feedback with each encounter. I cannot wait to start the program!!

We took our daughter to the open house yesterday and I have to say that we were very impressed. I never heard of the college until my daughter received something in the mail from them and I'm so glad ...she did. Everyone at the campus was very friendly and informative. It was very diverse from what we could see, which is important to us. I love how the campus is situated and the buildings are close. We loved the classrooms and really everything about each building we toured. We were also impressed by the security they have in place as safety is a major concern for our daughter. Stevenson is her number one choice thus far! See More

My experience while visiting this school was one like no other school I've ever visited in MD. Everyone was really helpful, organized, informative, articulate and everything else I wanted in a school.... Although, I'm a transfer student. I'm more than thrilled to start classes in August. I'm even more excited to see if I made the best decision with choosing Stevenson, which I'm 99.9% sure I did lol. See More

Well respected nursing Program around the state, good clinical sites such as Johns Hopkins, UMD, VA, everywhere pretty much in Maryland. Challenge you academically for sure and it is stressful. Cultur...e is ok, make some close friends and get an apartment and the intramural sports can be fun to do also. Apartments are great, but go to Junior/Seniors. Put you in to position to succeed with capstone internships and practicums being required Senior year regardless of major. Good Choice for undergrad. Apply for scholarships, I transferred with my Associates from AACC and a good GPA, and was rewarded for it. I choose Stevenson over UMD for my undergrad, but I plan to be a Terp for my MBA Masters because well, go Terps, and Mustangs. SU Nursing class of 2017. See More

Here is an honest review. This is pretty much a shopping center college. I compare this to ECPI with dorm rooms. Very high price tag school with little reputation. Since the school changed its nam...e no one knows who stevenson university is, better yet outside of the state of maryland and baltimore county stevenson has no recognition as a good university. I gave this school two stars because I learned from their business model of accepting anyone and putting a high dollar price tag on people who cannot get accepted into any school. I went to stevenson university as a transfer student and as I was there I could tell the difference between this school and the traditional 4 year school. Big difference is that the school is so small that you are not really treated as a grown up. (The school has pep rallys like in high school) So if you are looking to transition and feel like an adult check out towson or university of maryland or go to community college and invest the money you would have spent going here to actually build for your furture. We visited the open house yesterday with our daughter (11 grade). We new nothing about the college except from their website. I will begin by saying they had an excellent open house. When we 1st arri...ved at the Owings Mills campus my initial impression was "where is the school ". It seemed to merge with the shopping center. It was not a residential surrounding. There were tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. The look was not the classic look of a college. Their program was well organized. We had the most amazing ambassador who was in the program we were interested in. Business Communication. Once we understood the layout of the campus, we liked it better. The buildings all seemed new and modern. The dorms were very nice as was the dining hall (and food). We are still trying to decide the area of interest. School use many terms to discuss similar topics. Hard to compare. This md school has a Business Communication degree. Most school are mass media communications. This program seems to seems to take the best topics from other area. (Marketing, PR, journalism, professional writing, etc). If you are in the program, I would love for you to comment. We are seriously considering this program. I don't find other programs in MD that offer this type of degree. We are also interested in smaller schools. See More

Academically, the school is great.

Culturally, it's horrible. There is no community. There are just a handful of students who are heavily involved.

Campus jobs are nearly impossible to get without knowing someone on the inside.

It's just ok. Nothing great to be said about being a Stevenson Alum. Barely anything memorable will happen in your time at Stevenson.

Stevenson University is an amazing University with rich history and an even brighter future. If you are looking for a school that has your best interest at heart and actually care about you becoming s...uccessful academically. This is the institution for you. I attended Stevenson University enrolling into the Masters of Forensic Studies program with emphasis in Criminalistics. I enjoyed the classes and the education that complimented the skills acquired from the federal government training in Firearm and Tool mark Examination. I recommend this institution. See More

Class of 1985. Highly recommend this school for anyone. The staff was very attentive, concerned about students' educational needs, and geographical location was soo conducive to learning. I have ve...ry fond memories of my fellow students, teachers, and events. This university opened doors for me by reputation alone along with my grades. I received a very well-rounded foundation for what is now my life. See More

Stevenon has its issues, like any college does. But I can honestly say that the psych department curriculum is worlds ahead of other schools and the faculty are incredible. I never lived on campus or ...participated in sports, but my time in class and with professors helped shape me into the future clinician I'm working to be. Administration is hit or miss, after putting my foot down I have gotten refunds for things that were "non refundable" so if you're persistent on following up with the registrars office and financial offices they can come around. Overall im very happy with my years a SU. See More

We visited Stevenson over the summer and my daughter loved it. The school offers so much in academics, extracurriculars, and activities. We've attended 3 different college open houses and by far Stevenson blew them out of the water. There were so many students waving and greeting us as we were approaching the campus. It was a very warm... welcome. We never for a moment wondered where to go. See More
