Many people ask, “Why ice cream?“⁣

The short answer is...we were two parents working on both ends of the day with two small children (didn’t know that third one was on the way 🥴) who didn’t see us much. One of us always wanted to own a restaurant and the other always wanted to be in business. An ice cream shop where you could chill with a cone after a long day or week did not exist.... so we decided to open one. ⁣...

The story is a bit more nuanced than what’s here, but these are Cliff’s Notes, folks.⁣

We decided to bet on us, take a chance, and open Harlem’s only family-owned ice cream shop.⁣

Say, “Hi!” to this NEW VEGAN flavor that we’re calling, “Plum Raisin.” It’s got rum-soaked raisins. It’s got plum purée. And, it’s made with a plant-based ice cream base by @eclipsefoods.⁣

Since we opened 3 years ago, we have heard your requests for more vegan ice cream options. We stand by the cow 🐄😩 but we want to make sure EVERYONE has a creamy ice cream option when they visit us. ⁣
