Congratulations to David & Emma, who are getting married later on this year at The Aswanley Wedding Venue. The weather was absolutely perfect for their pre-wedding shoot on Valentines Day. (Well, I say perfect, but we nearly got caught in a snowdrift and couldn't make it to our planned destination.) Nevertheless, we had lots of fun!! Thanks to these guys for driving me around Royal Deeside and finding magic spots for me to shoot!! Can't wait for their wedding now!!
After experiencing extreme headaches over a number of weeks last April, Crystal assumed that it was down to the fact she was pregnant with her first baby. However, she became so sick that she was admitted to hospital and an emergency MRI revealed that she had glioblastoma in her brain, and would have to undergo surgery to save her life. Crystal was seven months pregnant. A team was on stand-by to deliver the baby, but remarkably, Crystal pulled through the operation along ...with her unborn baby. She had been unconscious for nearly a fortnight and had to waken to the news that she was now a cancer patient. Baby Ella was born early at 36 weeks, but only had to stay in the special baby unit for one day. A wonderful gift!! Crystal started radio therapy for a full 6 weeks but unfortunately the cancer grew to a larger size than before. She then started a six month batch of chemotherapy, and had just finished three months worth when she and Alan tied the knot at The Tufted Duck Hotel on the 3rd February, 2018. It was my privilege, along with Scott Cassie Films, to capture the day for Alan, Crystal and Ella. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, and we look forward to the good news in the weeks and months ahead that the cancer has gone completely. Wishing you ALL the very best, Mr & Mrs Stephen! x x
Definitely worth going to!! 💗💗

Here's an update from my sister on my much-loved brother-in-law Paul, who had a stroke just over a week ago. Aged 41 and extremely fit, this was the last thing we thought he'd have to face. A lot of you have been asking (thank you so much for your kind wishes)....
Good appointment with Paul Haggath’s own Doctor today. No results back yet from any of the tests but a really good chat. CHSS nurse tomorrow and back to his Doc...tor next week. Brain Doppler in ABZ still to come, hopefully this week. Got something to help him relax/sleep, (statins & anticoagulant to continue as normal) x
Paul is mainly shattered and heavy feeling on the right hand side but so much better than he was. Everyone’s prayers, help & support is so much appreciated x

I don't often share personal things on this page, but want to let you know why things have been so quiet of late. I had the opportunity to visit CAPE TOWN last week, and it was absolutely magnificent. Lived up to and went beyond my expectations. Will definitely share pictures in the weeks ahead. However, on my last day, Saturday, I got a call from home to say that my brother-in-law Paul, who is only 41 and who is as fit as a fiddle, had collapsed at home. He was rushed t...o hospital and it transpires that he has had a stroke. I came straight from the airport to the hospital, and have spent much of my time there. We are all in a bit of shock, especially my sister and his four girls (aged 7 to 16) but he is continuing to improve and we just KNOW he is going to make a full recovery. Meantime, I will hug my boys a bit tighter and keep everything crossed for continued good news. Thanks to Carla, my office manager, for keeping things running smoothly. I'm looking forward to my TWO weddings this week and know that they will cheer my heart. Meantime, here's a picture of my brother-in-law Paul with his gorgeous girls. GET WELL SOON, PAUL!!!
