I was super excited about going to Sweetie Pie’s with my friends. I was like let’s go they have great food! Oh my was I wrong. When we got there the lady serving the food had theeeee worst attitude!!!...! We basically couldn’t pick what pieces of chicken we wanted. The Mac&Cheese was horrible it didn’t have any cheese in it, I don’t know what that mess was. The greens was good and the corn was okay.... so the waitress was very very nice she even gave us some seasoning to season our chicken with because she already knew it was underseasoned..... Lord.... please dont charge people $16 for nasty food. That’s not cool. I know y’all on TV and the Sweetie Pie family probably has a lot of money but I don’t.... lol
Please give me and my friends our money back.... cook the food in the restaurants the way you cook it on TV!!!!!!!!

Birthday food choice of the day, was the famous Sweetie Pies, in Houston, Texas. This was our first time eating there and, our last. The food was disgusting, all the way down to the peach cobbler. Don...t let me talk about the potato salad from HEB, and overcooked mac and cheese. I don't know who the chef is, but the food was not authentic. Hire someone that can cook genuine soul food. I'm highly disappointed. Someone asked us outside of the restaurant, was it good. We yelled nooooo!!!. See More

We had to wait on line for fried chicken and silverware after the chicken was ready they still didn’t have silverware for the line when the silverware became available it still wasn’t enough so some o...f us were given very flimsy plastic ware for the people on the line not that the restaurant had been busy or crowded. The cabbage was soggy and tasted of the runny okra due to using the same utensil. Three chicken wings a ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes and a ice cream scoop of cabbage cost nearly twenty dollars. The corn bread was choking dry. For dessert the sweet potatoe pie cost five or six dollars for a very thin slice however it so nasty I couldn’t eat it. I also paid for Unlimited fountain soda only to find out I wasn’t allowed serving myself. I will never eat at a restaurant That television has hyped up as greatness See More

1st off, false advertisement! I drove 30 mins to get to the restaurant, had to find the entrance with the whole Houston bad drivers right on my a@#. 2ndly, the guy Bruce was very rude! Dude was like we close, I haven't had a customer in hours & that he decided to close early & also he said I should have called before I came! Smh... One of the workers told me 15 minutes prior to arrival that they close at 7 PM. They make up hours as they go, the food is very dry! & the customer service sucks. I'll eat McDonald's before I ever go back in to "Sweetie Pies" Houston. No disrespect to Miss Robbie! See More

The food was present, but the taste of good never showed up. Now if you ever come to a decision point to eat there or a local food spot, pick local food spot at least you know your not going to over for a tasteless, over cooked, dry meal. See More

I had the experience of the Sweetie pies food truck in Mesquite, TX. today the food was good but not worth the 41/2 hr. wait. It was the first stop on a cross country tour, so maybe all the kinks will... be out by the next stop.Get a second register and plan for a big crowd. I wish you well on your tour , GOOD LUCK.
Thanks for coming to Mesquite,TX.

My Sorors and I jump-started our 25th Deltaversary weekend at Sweetie Pies last weekend. We had a great time and excellent food! The catfish and cornbread was delightful! We were welcomed by an out...standing staff, and Ms. Robbie was extremely gracious in taking pictures and embracing each of us! We had a blast! See More

I thought this was going to be a very good experience to eat at Sweetie pies, I will never eat at this location again, the ribs tip was not done, the Mac and cheese was not good and the sweet potatoes... had no taste. The best part was the lemonade, I absolutely loved the lemonade that is all. They need to really get it together there, the attitudes must go. See More

The food was good, staff was nice. I do think they need to hire temporary staff for the week of COGIC Holy Convocation week in November.....they can not handle that kind of crowd.....
